I count myself lucky they don’t bother me to much… When I don’t wear my suit.. around dusk I tuck my trousers in my socks a light weight long sleeve shirt and a Buff for my neck. I can’t remember ever using repellents

Iv owned a BP 6 and BP 4 for a couple of years and use them regularly for feeder , spinning and floater work. Had no problems with them line lay is ok and the drag is fine 👍

My syndicate was up and running last Friday some carp came out over the weekend, I think il give it another week tho.

What’s the connection between somebody spending £49 in a pub and 0.04p per rod per day fishing ? For my license fee I would like to see a bailiff come up to me and ask to see my license …it’s only happened once in over 50 years of angling 🤔 …do they still patrol the banks ?

My bits of important tackle gos in a pair of Saxx men’s vibe boxer’s very comfy got them from go outdoors … I would post a pic but it would never get past the mods and it’ll make people jealous 😏 @ Elmo any chance of you posting a review of your Packsmart ? looks a nice bit of kit -
Iv used it in my bag and stick mix about half a teaspoon in each…haven’t a Scooby Doo how much for a 5k Spod mix tho.

I had a set of stainless steel buzz bars and bank sticks very chunky and heavy cost me a fortune but couldn’t tighten them really down so I swapped the rubber o rings for the leather ones which cured the problem…. But I sold them on there were just to heavy -

I always forget to tell my mate my lead bag is in his rucksack then when we get to our faraway swim suddenly I would remember…this has happened several times 😇

I rode over the dock to check out the Carp in their spawning areas to numerous to count them, still a bit of gentle foreplay going on…wish they get a move on 🙄

Well that was a short 24hr trip … the Carp decided to get a bit amorous so had to pull off the dock 😂

I used to dig Rag and Lugworm in my teens for the sea anglers who fished the local foreshore for the big opens near me and would fish in the dock for small Pouting for Conger baits used to keep them alive in a bucket, I always cut the tail so they couldn’t weigh them in. Cant remember what I charged them tho …it was 50 odd years ago 😳
