Out on the bank tonight, it’s -1c and I’ve had a few, nothing huge, but 3 so far, two low doubles and a single 

Awoken up this morning by a cockerel at the old estate lake I’m doing the winter on 

I lost my fav fishing cap that was bad but much worse it was the home to my pin badges of my most memorable pb’s fish, Roach, Common Carp and Mirror Carp. I told my grandson and he got me the Roach and Common waiting on the Mirror.

Just swapped over the old Bivvy Skin for the New 1....looks like a Brand New Bivvy Now 😁😁, just need clean the Groundsheet.

worst bit of the bivvy was the Storm Pole attachments, abit of a clean with WD40 n a toothbrush, dried before going back in bag.

Was left over with the below, Full Bivvy Skin, Full Front, Extra door options, Zip Bivvy Bag.

Don't think Sonik ever told any 1 about this, but they Cyamge there material on then1st edition bivvys,  that's why I've ended up with 2 skins for the bivvy i got off a mate.
He bought his the week they came out.

The rear windows had no cover when rolled up.
When I got mine I noticed it.

So I contacted sonik and the sent him a full new Bivvy System Skin.

Just had a quick look at the Bivvy, 
There's -
2 Zip Bivvy Bags, 2 Full Skins, 2 Full Fronts with all Doors, but Only 1 Groundsheet. 
So (eventually) i will swap the older Bivvy Skin and Full front for the New Skin and Front, so there will be a Spare Skin, Full Front and Bivvy Bag.
Ooooo and also found these in the Bivvy wrapped up.

Should I be a good mate and let him know ? Or should I think they were in the Bundle 🤔🤔🤔🫣🫣🫣

I'm hoping a few day sessions in the coming weeks, next week looks cold, but sunny weather, with myself n wife car sharing its abit hard at moment.
But I'm hoping tonsort all my gear next week while on the afternoon shift, replace the Sonik AXS Bivvy Skin.
I've not renewed my club water ticket this year, I'm going to be targeting 2 local Park Lakes more this year, very pressured waters, but have some lovely,clean looking fish....1 lake even has a 40lb in it.

Christmas wasn't the excess of old this year, first Christmas since I was a kid when I didn't drink at all, i did eat quite a lot of cheese based buffets and chocolates  though, we had a little finance check up over Christmas and worked out where we were spending too much money, we were eating quite a lot of takeaways was quite an eye opener I can tell you 👀 we have now banned ourselves from them, luckily I had already boycotted papa John's, dominos, McDonald's, KFC already but the kebab man, Chinese and curry house are going to feel the pinch 😢 but we're going to be healthier this year, as a family we Are taking back control. 
I am going to go back to intermittent fasting soon as that seems to work for me. I am starting the year feeling ready for another go, I have just bought a new fishing mobile and a load of car cleaning products too I am becoming that guy, you know the one Sunday morning bright and early getting that jetwash blasting and the suds a singing. I've got snowfoam and I am not afraid to use it 🤣
I am looking forward to it already 😂👌

I skipped breakfast, when I got hungry I had a banana around 9-10am with a small handful of nuts and raisins for lunch I had Weetabix with an apple , banana later when I got hungry again. sipping water all day would help. Main and only meal around 5 ish maybe a handful of mixed nuts and raisins while chilling out early evening. No food after 8 ish pm   Only had coffee when I went fishing with treats so that wasn’t often 😏 it took about 2 wks to get used to the different times I ate had headaches and was a bit irritable think that was the lack of caffeine …Without realising it I was fasting for 12 hrs, now I couldn’t eat a big full meal if I wanted to… I wonder if our stomach shrinks with less food intake 🤔
 

At the moment I'm eating alot of red meat in all my meals...
Breakfast consists of Museli and 1 Coffee.
Snacks are Nuts or a Protein Shake/Bar
Lunch consists of Steak/Mince/Vegetables and Rice.
Tea is more or less the same.
Plenty fluids also during the day...
I do have a cheat every other day and a Sunday is always a roast....
Exercise is walking the dog, Biking to work and Daily Stretching for about 30mins.
So far since November, I've lost just over a Stone.

Il be well happy with a healthy new year and finding more time to go fishing … hope the same for all the members 🤞

I use rod sleeves very nearly bought a rod bag last year but no just no, I'm getting more buckets for the barrow that won't be getting much use this year as I'm planning on doing waters I can drive to the swim like bluebells.
I have even been looking at baitboats the ridge monkey one can fit the deeper on the front.

I've had a few luggage bits that seem to do the job well, I couldn't find anything else that I thought would be better this time, I think I am going through a reorganising phase again.

I would go on a limb and say some of the NGT luggage is up there withbthe best....I've had the Small, Medium & Large Holdalls, Buzz Bar bag and never had 1 fault with any of them.
