Doesn't sound promising for the current venue lads ! & trying to find a decent one now will be tricky to say the least . Horseshoe could be a back up plan although that's pretty busy these days by the look of it .1 point -
It's sounding more and more like a good idea to have a plan b. Only issue I can see is where can you book at such short notice? Plus cancelling original venue (although that hasn't been officially confirmed yet, not for lack of trying) and re-arranging, communicating to all interested, many of whom may not have seen the forum is back up etc. Not easy...1 point

Just updated the steamer for a boiling ring got it from a local warehouse shop in the Asian shopping area cheaper than the same on line same make so why not. The steamer is a bit time consuming a large pan of boiled water and a quick dunk seems less hassle.
