    Expensive overnighter, fell and snapped my spod rod in half whilst prebaiting at the end of the session. Just ordered the same rod as I like it a lot: Tackle Box CF-X Black edition Spod 12ft 4.5lb 50mm.

    Tonights Spomb mix for the carp, silt from the margins, complete with bloodworm and snails, Rod Hutchinson KMG and Infusion boilies whole and crushed, Vitalin, and kidney beans, along with some chilli flakes to try to deter the swans. I did top up with some more Vitalin before Spombing it in to soak up the extra liquid.

    One of the cogs/wheels/gears or whatever they are called in the middle that makes it spin had shattered, its been put on a shelf for now hopefully fix it in the next few weeks 🤣

    I realised this week that I Solar do goalpost buzzer bar converters. It means I don't always have to use the pod now and can go goalpost and 2 and 1 rather than 3 singles. No local tackle shop had them so Tackle Box Dartford got a bit of an online order. Very fast service.

    New motor turned up today. A bit gutted I couldn't get the 68lb thrust. Seemingly out of stock everywhere (typical!) Battery connections aren't great on their battery box

    Try taking the spool off and any washers etc and put them back together again sometbing may have got dislodged might be something simple hopefully.
