Hello mate , when I got my new glasses at Specsavers I got offered a second set of glasses at a greatly reduced rate and I chose Polaroids.
Prescription is the way to go mate , you have to be comfortable by the pool and be able to clearly see itβs contents .
whatever that may be π
Been too hot and uncomfortable to fish the lake for a few weeks, so I've been spending some time on The River Wensum in Norfolk.
Last night was proper chub time, a 5lb3oz beast caught on a 15mm Rod Hutchinson Monster Crab boilie over pellets.
Despite the lack of smile I was chuffed with the fish as it is actually a new personal best by an ounce. For the rest of the night I was smiling as I replayed the fish in my head.
It came from an area that has been ravaged by otters over the past few years so it is good to see some big fish still about
Amber is said to be a bit of a cover all, decent in all lights.
I used to have Shimano with grey/blue lenses but lost those, they were good.
My Fortis in Brown are not as good as the Amber, but I guess each has it's day
I've had the Amber and now got the switch over wraps
I'm not gonna lie they help a bit but they aren't as good as my old prescription maui Jim's, I will go for prescription ones next time
I am colour blind though and I can't help thinking twin lenses reduces the quality
