Well so far my mobile approach has meant I've caught on all 3 of my rods 😂 Left bream (a double i should think ) Middle tench (quite a big one) Right rudd (1lbish) So at least my spots are OK Just need a carp now and I will win the drennan Cup 😁😂

Hello Phil I got to see one of these in the flesh the other week when I was looking at getting their brolly system . They look and feel seriously impressive. They are definitely worth the price tag and if a mate wasn’t sorting me out with a Cabrio system I’d be investing in the Avid one without a doubt . You’ll be pleased with it I reckon 👍🏻

Literally up the road from me, but I've never fished it, the exclusive lake seems to have some nice fish in though,its probably a lot quiter there now too as the A14 has moved, I always planned to join one day but its kind of become a bit famous now and they've closed the waiting list maybe one day 😭 There is an award winning kebab van about 6 miles away 🥇collection only but it is a bit good 😂

Most bigger cyprinids are female. Think Mary, Heather the Leather, Sally the Common. I've watched barbel spawning in shallow water and typically you get the big girl in the middle and the smaller males are positioned around her and are rubbing her flanks encouraging her to release the eggs. At spawning time, female fish also develop a "peashooter" that looks like it might belong on a male where the eggs are released from whereas the males milt opening looks like a little girls part!
