  1. Iโ€™m lucky I have a vacuum sealer and I break mine into kilo bags

  2. I did a slightly unusual defrost last week added a couple of cups of boiling water and glugged them at the same time and left them overnight, not. Enough water to cover them but enough to leave some excess, i was quite pleased with the result tbh bit washed out but oozing with gloopy stinky goodness then I soaked up the excess with pellets ๐Ÿ˜

  3. I order 200 press seal bags on eBay for just over a fiver. Big enough to take 2/3kg depending on bait size. I split in to 2kg normally. Handy grab bag in the morning for baiting up or when I go. I add glug from frozen so they defrost and draw it in so I like to have excess room for air so I can shake them. just make sure you squeeze all the air out the bags so you can store them using less space.

  5. In the interests of lightning the load, Iโ€™ve done away with a separate marker rod completely and only use a dedicated Spod rod if I need to put a large Spomb 100yds+. My regular rod/line combo of Harrison TE specials and 40lb PowerPro allows me to mark up, bait and fish more efficiently.

  6. You could use just about anything to catch a fish, whether or not it will be good for it is another matter, if its a utility rod then it's probably branded as a spomb/marker rod to have one rod that is suitable for both uses, personally I think it may be quite stiff for use as a fishing rod and would guess the test curve is about 3.5lb to 4lb, I probably wouldn't if I didn't have to. but if needs must its a rod that will handle casting OK, I would play fish very carefully though as you may find you suffer hook pulls as it may be quite stiff Hope that helps ๐Ÿ‘

    Olives?

Never tried olives. I think I would probably end up eating them, although I'm now wondering how I would keep my feta cheese cool as that goes well with olives wrapped in a slice of proper ham...
