Fish landed, bail arm off,net broke down, onto mat and fish unhooked. It’s not exactly rocket science 🙄🙄 As has been said probably a new must have Korda thingy bob coming out 😆😆😬3 points -

I never do this, Heard to many horror stories of the hook ending up in someones hand/finger whilst the fish is still thrashing about.3 points -
Flavour of the Week - Rigs

I've piddled about in the past and done my own head in.... For simplicity I just use a variation of the multi rig for pop ups (and occasionally bottom baits too)……. My go to bottom bait rig on clean bottoms is a simple stripped back a couple of inches from the hook, semi stiff coated braid...…. By sticking to two rigs for the most part, my tackle box isn't full of bits I rarely use any more...….. I'm more inclined to change the hair length/hook length or add/remove a bit of weight if I want to tweak my rig, rather than drift from the tried and tested...…. I've found, too, that by sticking to a couple of rigs, they just get easier and quicker to tie up and you don't get caught off guard at the tackle shop, as you know exactly the few components that you will be using each time...…. Hook wise I like the Gardener Mugga's for bottom baits and the ESP Cryogen stiff riggers for my multi rigs.2 points -
ali asked me to lend him a quid the other day, i said "rich bloke like you cadging money, cant you afford to buy your own"? he said "nah!! im short"2 points

I'd take absolutely no notice whatsoever of what ever comes out of Ali H's mouth or any other commercial angler in regards to fish safety..... Seen a few and heard of many times where fish are retained for unnecessary lengths of time, whilst waiting for the Gimp, sorry, photographer, to arrive... Only for the poor stressed out creature to be then, kept out of the water for far too long a time, so the gimp can get enough shots off.. Followed by the immortal words on camera...… "Now let's get her back in the water as quick as we can"...…… .. 😀2 points

All my life I've used the HSR for dirty spots and a simple bottom bait rig for the cleanest of clean spots. It's only this year I've started using the ronnie that sits in between those two rigs. I'd happily use a multi in place of it tbf. I always have a chod tied up ready to chuck at something too I suppose. I use this less and less but I'm sure that's because I've been on my water a while now so know the spots really well. Put me on a new water and It'd be used I'm sure.1 point

As far as I know the German is a very basic bottom bait rig, no breaks in the hooklink coating, just a knotless knot rig with a hook swivel and bead, worlds apart from the Ronnie or whatever its being called today, which is a pop-up rig1 point

The ronnie has been my go to rig this year, has done me very well, however where most use it as a single or over a bed of boilies, I put mine in a solid bag. When i used a flurocarbon boom i dropped a few, Having better results now on something like Ntrap. I use size 8/6 hooks just because im using 12mm pop ups and on a size 4 its not boyent enough. One thing i have found, And im not sure why yet, but sometimes fish just wont take the ronnie, Its like something is giving the game away but i cant understand what. This recently occured fishing with my dad, Fish either side of a tree, no more then 1 yards apart. I was catching really well, he wasnt getting a sniff, changed his ronnies to 1 of mine......Exactly the same....after a day and a half i had had enough (he had 1 fish on that ronnie so he was adminant not to change) I made him change to a bottom bait and within 3 hours he had 6 fish banked. Same depth of water, Same slightly silty bottom as where i was fishing....they just wasnt having the ronnie on that spot. Guess the lesson for my dad was to change it up, Fish the situation, dont fish "what you like".1 point -
I’d not ignore putting out a good quality boilie. This is the time of year the fish go on the feed and put on weight. They’ll be searching for a good food source. Crumb it up and use halves to get it to settle on the silt. Don’t be afraid to fish in 3ft of silt. Just use a helicopter setup with a chod rig set 3ft up with a 1ft between the beads so it can settle nicely on top.1 point

I have the lo pro, I really like mine, It's not the biggest brolly on the market but it's light, easy to pit up and take down again, perfect for my over nighters. I use storm poles with mine although there's no real need to be honest I just like the extra stability they provide. If you can go and see one in the flesh, it's the only way you'll ever really know.1 point
