  2. I think they just sound a bit naff lol when your used to hearing a screaming Fox alarm. No idea on Delk reliability - not had them long enough, feel a bit flimsy if you know what I mean but no probs yet. Me and my mate were on the mill with new Delks, he gets a take and doesn't recognise the sound so we are saying, go on then someone hit it!!! By the time he realised it was him, ran to his rods and lifted into the fish it fell off - unlucky for your first take from a venue - we'd only been there a couple of hours lol I did the same in France, didn't recognise the sound as being anything to do with me.

  3. I do know what you mean. If I'd not had issues with water I'd still be using them I have to admit.

  5. Yeah loads of people tell me this. I keep thinking about not getting fox, then come back to being decided on fox after hearing things like this.

  8. A close mate had the old ones. They went wrong after a couple of years so he bought the new ones last year. They've just started going wrong too.

  9. They look good and the sales speak sounds good, I was considering them but went for Delks instead at the time. Are the user reviews any good?

    Angling Direct 10℅ off

If I’m completely honest mate after consulting the sieve that is my brain I can’t remember what size I ordered, I can have a check for you and let you know if ya like. as for ease of removal ......they come off extremely easily and the inner sock/thermal bit generally leaves the boot with my foot 🤣😂 and then needs to be taken off (or in cold weather left on just in case I need to slip the boots back on quickly....never happens but ya never know )

  12. Agree @kevtaylor. I still have a set of old micron m's and they work perfectly. It' why i moved to ntxr's after water problems with delks. Guess what.... they've been flawless.

  13. I've got 4 x MXs and an M some going back 20 odd years and it's a fact they all work like new. Old fox alarms have to be the best all round surely, I'd go back to them without hesitation and they have been battered in all weather's- never missed a beat!

    Pike fishing

1 small pike from today that took a lamprey nearly as big as he was. Thought I was on them again to start another early take, but when this came to the bank I figured the mummas were somewhere else so kept moving swims until I had to get back Fishing in the snow and a couple of todays swims, it was bright to start!

    Plagiarism

To give balance to the thread...... whos the one ripping off customers in this scenario.... company a:- pays staff wages to designers, cad technicians, marketing team, sales team. Pays out for numerous prototypes, ironing out any problems with new product. Puts product out for testing. Resolves any issues after testing period. Etc etc etc ends up with finished product and sells for £15. After taking all the above and more into account, each unit sold draws a margin of £4.50. company b:- buys finished product above off shelf. Gets factory to copy it. Sells product for £10 making the same £6 profit per unit.

  16. Wish I'd have got the NTXRs instead of Delks in hindsight.
