  1. Just spooled up last week with the original tiger line. Still £69 for 1000m.

  3. I have used a 110 ah leisure battery for years no problem. Put frozen food and milk in bottom of cool box. fresh food milk on top. No need to run cool box 24/7 .Keep the lid closed . just run the cool box for an hour once and a while. Battery will last a good week including charging my phone and running the tv/dvd.
  4. Plenty of carp between. Orton lock and Dog and Doublet lock. Including the free water in town. There is a local guy doing guided fishing trips.
  5. A simple lead clip when fishing in weed can't be beaten.
  6. At the moment It's a few handfuls of boilies and tiger nuts when you find them. Less and often is the way to go. i give it about 4hrs if no action i move to the next area. Have pre baited a few places but not fish them yet as being mobile is working out ok.
  7. There's no spots as such it's about areas. Where there's lots of bream there's carp. lol need big baits to pick them out. It's been fishing well the last few trips 5 out so far to 22lbs . Not found the big ones yet. It's best to stay mobile bait up and fish when you find them. most coming out early morning. only one out in night.
  8. Yep been up and down the river the past 6 weeks no sign of any seals.
  9. Nene is full of carp. move around a lot. just need to find them . locals won't give up info easy. If you have access to a boat get afloat go looking you will soon find them. at the moment there down stream of orton lock. But won't be there for long. good Luck

  13. Yes you should be fine. i don't use my spod rod any more. i remove lead and rig clip on small spod to carp rod simple easy and quick.

  15. Hi just done 30hrs using the bio weights. do look a bit odd at first but use them like normal leads. No problems with casting was fishing to a bar at 86yards 2.5oz with fluorocarbon main line. casting with ease. Finish with 3 x 20s including this 26lbs common.
  16. Been told they will be same price as lead weights. Lots of colours and shapes . and some flat ones for margin fishing.

  18. Better pics for you. The one on the right i ask them to make for me. Some fisheries are looking at banning lead next year. so i am getting a head start.
  19. Just pick up my samples of bio weights the one on the right can be filled with pellets ect and a pva nugget plug into bottom.

  21. Yes i use a Hawke range finder rf5600 600m/656yd you can range find your marker float. far bank reed beds ect.
  22. Hi you could also try a method feeder very easy and quick way to get feed around your bait. the small korda one 1.5oz is good 3.5oz when loaded. Work's the same as pva bags and don't melt so can be loaded with anything.
  23. How about the fox str i got set of 4 had them for 25 years. still perfect.
  24. Yeah i went down tuesday night with a reed cutter and a saw 30 mins latter had a swim sorted. put out 2kg boillies. fish it thursday and friday night. well pleased think i will do winter on here. going back tomorrow to cut a new swim out.
