Well 2 runs so far....! One from a gull and one from a coot [emoji36] [emoji36] safe to say my zig is now lower in the water! Only 3 swims free when I arrived, the spot I wanted was taken so all change here. I'm in the swim where my cousin caught a monster carp while float fishing. So I've a rod in the margin which I'm just going to leave. If orgies I think it'll be towards the end of the day. A zig currently at about 4ft on about 9 foot of water. Middle rod is straight out in front about 1/4 across the lake to where I saw a carp poke it's head out

which way do your bags land up then???......If wafters are neutral, then if upside-down then the only visual is the bag contents.... A pop up (blatant or not) will sit above the contents ....speeding up the chances......or is that crazy talk????(Im thinking shotted not zigging styley)

I have cracked as I am sick and tired of all the pathetic jibes on this forum! And posts being ruined because of it. The report button must be broken as I tried it already and it didn't have any effect so I thought I would try the blatantly obvious public way. I have no qualms with you or any other specific person on the forum but it's about time people grew up and stopped the playground bullying/ganging up on each other. Well, it took me a few weeks to get down there but I have to say we had a great 24 hours at Dog Lane Fishery, my son landed a cracking 15lb gold bar common within 20 minutes of having his rods in the drink. I found the first 12 hours tough going but got going in the afternoon with 3 fish in total, starting with a lovely 18lb common, followed quickly with a PB 23lb 10oz mirror from the margins, and finished with a cracking looking ghosty at 16lb odd.. Lovely place with huge roomy swims, friendly people round the banks, can't wait to get back down there and try for a few more. Cheers for the tip off's Bri & son
