Yep , I will give it a bash , there are a few places where I need to " hold bottom " in the flow where I'm going to use around 4 - 10 oz pebbles , easy = good , and it doesn't get much easier than wrapping a bit of plasticine round your swivel !

yep , found them , people also use a staple to make back leads !

CM , what about clay , where I fish its easy to get hold of a bit of clay , is with a lot of waters , I haven't looked at Chillys drop off , how old is it ?

Very interesting this i do something similar with stones just make them in to a traditional style lead and use the lead clip to drop them like you would any normal lead But does take the time making the stones in weights but can save a fair bit of money

I know its not a perfect test , better than nowt, you can notice the difference between hooks , I pull back using just the tip of my index finger !

I must admit I have been enjoying watching this season's football. The Premiership is much more open, the big four, Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal seem out of it. It is very refreshing to see Tottenham and Leicester so far fighting for the top spot, after spending far less money than the other teams. Claudio Ranieri has been keeping his players motivated without appearing big headed, and they are certainly doing the do on other teams. As for Spurs, quietly keeping on keeping on, and winning when they play.
