No, there aren't any bream in there. I've had similar occurrences on another lake that contains some large catfish and they frequently smash people up and due to bad practices by anglers, they are frequently trailing tackle including leads and you get all 3 rods register a bite but then drop off a second later.

As I'm not allowed to fish my local lake, I thought I would stop by to see what's happening. As expected, there's people using it as a swimming pool/somewhere to go paddle boarding/sunbathing. I bought an aquarium thermometer off amazon just so I know what the water temperature is. I was shocked to find the surface water between 26.1C and 26.3C. Hopefully the temps are going to start dropping soon. That can't be good for the fish.

With such a beautiful setting who needs to catch anything , it would only disturb the tranquility . 😄

That's disappointing , G P . Could your lifts on the bobbin be Bream ? .

They are still the first band on my playlists. Love them. They are one of my son's favourite bands as well, and he is 16. Chester was an amazing artist, his music will live on for decades .

As expected, my trip was a grueller and I packed up Sunday morning despite having paid until 6 in the evening. I couldn't believe how warm the water was when I washed my hands in the lake. There were a few fish crashing about early morning but they didn't seen interested in feeding. I should have had a good nights sleep but both nights I think that one fish was trailing tackle as I had numerous lifts on the bobbin before settling again, despite using backleads.

Linkin Park are one of my favourite bands and I've got tickets to see a tribute band in a few weeks. After the lead singer Chester took his own life, you start to appreciate that most of what he wrote was one long suicide note!

Hi everyone, I'm Caprini, from Spain. I mostly fish freshwater: shore fishing, reservoirs, a bit of carp fishing, small predators, float fishing and fly fishing when I can. I'm joining to learn from real fishing communities and understand how anglers actually organize trips, keep notes, find access routes and protect their spots. I'm also validating an Android fishing app idea, but I'm not here to sell anything. There is no app released, no download and no product to promote. I'll keep things respectful and will use one separate thread if the forum allows it, so I don't mix the app discussion with my introduction. Thanks for having me.

For my late July trip to Belgium I've just bought the Nash Tarp, so we have some shade in the daytime and 2 of the Wolf Fans for the bivvies which seem to work well. I also got the Aqua Pioneer 150, to go alongside my Ultralite, justified by saying it's for my son on this trip but really it's for me in winter when you want a slightly bigger shelter for the additional stuff taken. 😂👍

2 items for those longer sessions 2 burner stover (with toaster) from the range - bargain price of £30 after £20 off. Portable toilet as none of the club lakes have a toilet.

Are there any free carp fishing pictures?

A lot of tackle companies use a basic depiction of a carp with their logo or brand superimposed across the flank of the fish. You might be able to 'borrow' legitimately the fish image and simply add your own name -

Depending on your morals you could either pinch from here davidmillerart.co.uk or ask if you could use one or 2 for your private use and he may send you a file for a couple of quid so you could get a decent picture put on it. would look better than the crappy ones you see on the internet.

Damn these fish they just don't care about an angler's comfort ! . Good on you for putting Sky's needs first . 😃

I tried that last weekend, setting up in the shade of a big elm tree, and blanked. Last year I created a bivvy spot right under the willows and again, the fish seemed to avoid the area. On both occasions the fish caught were in the brightest and sunniest spots. I would say that I should have moved, but with Sky I refused as I would much rather she was comfortable as possible, and unless I tell her will lay in the sun all day and overheat.

I'm not particularly a Johnny Cash fan but this one blew me away. The poor old bloke looks like he has one foot in the grave and the song reads like a deathbed confession. Not very often a song moves me so much, it brought tears to my eyes.

I searched for ages and found these two options. The first one is embroidery, and the second is print. I plan to talk to the supplier to check the renderings first.
