If anyoneâs interested, Iâve edited my catch pic above with a full catch report.

I like the go gas ones but they do seem to empty quickly.

Good question. I can't see the size 2 Korda Chod hooks in stock anywhere. I spotted the Avid and Cygnet jobbies - both on sale too. Avid Armorok Chod Hooks Fishing Tackle and Bait Cygnet Choddy Hook Size 2 Barbed | eBay UK

The NGT canisters if you are talking about the 500's are actually some of the best gas canisters out there. The ones to avoid if possible are Coleman!

Funny thing is that many freezer baits become bio-active by a simple process called efflorescence, where salts and sugars come to the surface of the boilie. It is why some baits are more effective after a couple of days out of the freezer. There were a number of bio-active ingredients, from meat meals to milk products, to pineapple juice (bromelain).

That's nearly as pornographic as DPM slinky underwear under her bib and brace... Much as I like it I'll stick with Gardner Pro. The only thing that has worn that through is a pike charging through the line.

Thatâs barren lol congrats on the fish

It is a tad open, the rains hammering down now and Iâm under a brolly and storm sides! The hot water bottle is working overtime tonight!

Thanks , greekskii . Funnily enough I was looking particulary at the Bug .

Thanks , Elmo , that's a nicely balanced review .

I bought 20kg of S7 and failed to catch anything but 3 tench from St Ives, might have been out my depth at the time though. So possibly not a fair reflection. Their hookbaits never seemed to set the world on fire for me either though. But might again be me.
-
Personal experience is years and years ago now so probably not much use. Tried the switch when first released and found it poor compared to fishmeals. a friend has done extremely well on the bug in recent years.
-
You're a hard man ,Ouch . No natural cover in view , and the wind wipping across . I'll just stay indoors , and cheer you on . đ
-
Hi Everyone Has anyone had any experience using DNA Baits please ? . Ta .

Give them chance lol probably will be in the not to distant future. -
Hense why this should have been kept to a SHB free zone. always ends up hitting the fan âŠ.

Yes I read the comments, I still don't get why you don't like a product you've never used. It seems personal rather than logical. Sticky hookbaits are alright but I wouldn't say they are head and shoulders above anything else out there.
-
I tied up a hinge using a wide gape the other day, I agree it would work, you just need to have a straighter curve on the chod section. But I thought they look good tbh.

Gardner ATTs Silent Alarms & ATTx Receiver

sorry i should of been more clear, its a slightly different design from the other 2 alarms - whereby a circuit wire keeps the back cover close to the main cover, i'll post a pic next time i do a battery change... -
Obviously youâve not seen the hookbaits yourself. None of them are bright colours, like fluoros. The coloured ones are pretty muted. The white is an off white, washed out pink, yellow is a dull yellow, even the orange isnât fluoro and washes out pretty quick as orange always does. So depends on what your definition is of âbrightâ is. theyâve also sold hookbaits that are white, yellow and Red for years and years. Whatever grievance you have with SHB, youâve not seen the hookbaits, used them nor know much about them despite what has been posted by SHB themselves. Kinda makes anything youâre saying moot tbh. zero credibility in trying to put people off using SHB. im sure youâll be back here in a year under a different username or on the other forum saying the same things once again, all whilst the hookbaits are catching fish up and down the country all year round for thousands of anglers.
