jules007
I am looking at fishing margins so i can drop a rig on a clear spot (weed problems) , i figure its better to place a couple of rigs close in and know they are on clear spots and not tangled. I plan on putting little tiny pva mesh mini nuggets with boilie crumb, and in line lead, but need to decide what rig to use that will do for both pop up and bottom bait? Incidentally i purchased a spool of ESP Tungsten loaded hooklink braid, by eck that stuff is dam near impossible to strip the coating
salokcinnodrog
You can get away with a Multi-rig! I've used it for pop-ups, snowman and bottom baits. Longer hair to the rig ring for bottom baits, maybe even snowman, but it works. crusian and jules007
crusian
I was going to suggest a Multi-rig , but couldn't work out how you would attach the hair ; then along comes Nick to answer that question ! 😃. What I would say though is I use a Chod Hook , i.e. an Outurned Eye , for my pop ups ( thanks Kev. ) , but others on here swear by a Curve Shank Hook ( inturned eye ) . I guess you experiment and choose what works for you . 😃 jules007
elmoputney
Spinner rig with a D rig kicker for me. Wide gape or long gape for wafters and bottom baits, trig hammer XT or wide gape for pop ups depending on height required, I also switch between ringed spinner swivels and non ringed spinner swivels for height, jules007
