Dezzy27 Posted February 14, 2022 Report Posted February 14, 2022 Any thoughts on stopping or limiting the twist on the rod holders on a rod pod. No matter how tight I do them they still seem to twist out of alignment Quote
commonly Posted February 14, 2022 Report Posted February 14, 2022 Just a thought, try using different butt Gripz Quote
B B Posted February 14, 2022 Report Posted February 14, 2022 Use a rubber o ring on the thread of the rod holder 👍 ... 1 Quote
kevtaylor Posted February 16, 2022 Report Posted February 16, 2022 I've used rubber O rings and leather washers on mine, neither have stopped it happening, then it's an old pod - think the threads are turning inside the buzz bar tbh Going to try a second leather washer on each and if that doesn't fix it either put up with it as usual or buy a new pod. How could I chuck away a Quatro pod though an absolute classic bit of kit! 😪 Quote
B B Posted February 16, 2022 Report Posted February 16, 2022 Kev maybe try Blue Loctite with quick release connectors like from Prologic …I had a set of heavy stainless bank sticks and buzz bars and the only way to tighten them up was using leather washers. kevtaylor 1 Quote

My mate couldn't work out why his buzzers would not stay straight. If you can pick up a set of buzzer bars that will fit the pod? kevtaylor 1 Quote
