elmoputney
Hi guys Just got back from a night on the bank, my shoe situation is shocking, and I caught a tench and possibly had a bream fall off 🎉 Due to the floods most swims are up and I sort of need to wade a bit,and it's generally muddy, but can't wear waders all day and night as they are annoying and horrible, I can't get them on quick enough if I get a run and I don't like wellies much either or own any lol, I ended up today mainly wearing my fake crocs but they can be a bit flighty and I nearly went over a couple of times Obviously with things like aqua shoes if you wear socks they will get wet are waterproof socks any good and can you wear them all day or do they make your feet sweaty and horrible ? You could go barefoot but then at night you may get cold feet, what's the solution for quick on footwear that you can get a bit wet and hopefully still have dry feet, I only have to go below knee level in an emergency usually below ankle level , 😂 I don't want to spend a fortune but need a solution please if anyone has one 👍

The laces are tight enough to keep them on, but loose enough I can slide them on with no hands. I have tried boots, wellies will work, but anything lace up is a pain at night, unless you loosen the laces totally and put them inside the boot. Mind you in winter that can be best... elmoputney

Carpbell_ll
wellies or wet feet, take plenty of socks and change as needed is my normal routine, those sealskinz socks are said to keep the wet out and feet dry but at nearly 50 notes a pair I'll never know. did get offered a new set for fifteen quid a few years back when I bought my lofty gear, turned them own as I didn't know anything about them. elmoputney
B B
Crocs in the summer for slipping on when getting out of the bag but still take the wellies, leave the Crocs home in the winter tho..the Navatas wellies are Sooo light and they come with a liner which you can wear in your bag... I hate doing muddy bootlaces up. elmoputney
ouchthathurt
We were issued with gortex socks in the army, they were rarely worn because your feet just got hot and sweaty and then cold, I just took an old pair of wellies and cut them down to slipper size. Luminous green crocs whenever I can get away with them, however I have gracefully deposited my backside in a puddle a few times as they have a sad lack of grip... I've just tried on my new wellies, they seem pretty good for the money and easy on/off so far, I daresay once they get sweaty and worn in, they wont be so easy to put on but I can slide my feet straight in with no hands, and they sit nicely below my calfs that'll do me for now, i might test them out today as I am going for a bait up
