Which lead left or right

Hello all which lead would you recommend is better smoth or texture thanks

I personal dont think it matters , but given the choice I would use the textured one every time

I agree 100%.

I would use the smooth coating, simply because it is very, very marginally less prone to tangling (I have found the hooklink can 'catch' on the textured surface on bigger chucks).

Thanks for the replay first attempt  of making leads and I really didn't no what to make smoth or coated

ive only ever used the smooth coating and its never stopped me from catching

whether its hindered my catch rate I don't know, maybe its something DF can look at in underwater vol 190

As long as your wearing your carpy camo underwear then I wouldn't worry about little things like lead coatings .

P.S  , They only work if they have the added carp tax on , other have tried the cheap brands and failed .
