dalthegooner Posted January 27, 2015 Author Report Posted January 27, 2015 There may not be . Radio just said away goals count double after ET if it stays goalless That's poo. If away goals don't count in the 90 minutes, they definitely shouldn't count after that. It's unfair on the home team as there is 30 minutes more football played at their ground. (Stevo will be happy though ) Quote

(Stevo will be happy though ) Scrub that. I misunderstood what you wrote, Tim. If it ends 0-0 after extra time the goal scored by Chelsea at Anfield then counts as double so Chelsea go through on the away goals rule. That's nasty. (And Stevo definitely WON'T be happy ) Quote
snowmanstevo Posted January 27, 2015 Report Posted January 27, 2015 30 mins more home advantage aswell tho...... Bit of a double edged sword Quote
newmarket Posted January 28, 2015 Report Posted January 28, 2015 Didnt matter in the end though . Commiserations steve i'm sure you'll be a lot happier at the weekend Quote

snowmanstevo Posted January 31, 2015 Report Posted January 31, 2015 I think both teams would be happy with a draw 5 points is nothing at this stage chelski will drop points ..... But so will City ! They don't look the same without Fabregas and the elephant man newmarket 1 Quote

dalthegooner Posted January 31, 2015 Author Report Posted January 31, 2015 I was out so missed the Liverpool game; but the Chelski, Qatar City game was a proper let down. City went for it in the second half; but unfortunately, it wasn't the spectacle I was hoping for. Quote
snowmanstevo Posted January 31, 2015 Report Posted January 31, 2015 The big games very rarely are Dal..... The players are too scared to lose ! Quote
