newmarket Posted April 21, 2015 Report Posted April 21, 2015 I dont know what happened at Wednesday , maybe somebody can enlighten me there but as far as Leeds are concerned , they went for it and came a cropper fair enough but 2 points . Firstly due to FFP , that could never happen to us , and secondly , ask any Leeds fan , yes they would rather be in the Prem , but they are glad that they TRIED . Nobody over West Ham is complaining about the players , though they do appear to have lost interest recently , so your Fortnum & Mason comment isnt really relevent . As i said , as i always say , if you are happy watching that dross week in week out thats your business , you may have no dreams or ambitions thats also your business . Stoke ? Stoke are improving all the time , good luck to them as a club but there fans do like a song concerning Bobby Moore and Jimmy Saville so for that reason i have no time for them . Quote
snowmanstevo Posted April 21, 2015 Report Posted April 21, 2015 oh dear , some people are going to hate that, me well they have had their day and that bus reflects how long ago it was, false expectations, just the same as some ammers fans. 4 years without a trophy is hardly a lifetime..... Ask gooner fans. newmarket 1 Quote
newmarket Posted April 21, 2015 Report Posted April 21, 2015 All i wish for , as do a now overwhelming majority , is to have the Dudley Dinosaur replaced . With whom i dont know , to that we must entrust Pinky and Perky . Ss long as its not Moyes or someone like mcleish etc. Tbh i dont really trust them either , they will sell up 2 years after we move , ask Bivvy about 'em Do you , hand on heart , truly believe that the Allosaurus is the messiah ? Is he really the only manager that can save us from certain relegation ? I've a feeling Sullivan is going to make a statement of intent this summer with maybe a £30m bid for one player alone . I just wish they'd give Allardyce his Spade and Trowel now and let Teddy have a bash . Every time another team overtakes us its 1.75m down the drain and Crystal Palace and Everton will be next . newmarket Posted April 21, 2015 Report Posted April 21, 2015 (edited) A thirty million pound player is champions league standard, would they really join the ammers, one player against the big boys many.Things like that are only rumour mate . I just happen to hear a lot more gossip and rumour living down here than you do up there .Yes a lot of it is old toot but occasionally some of it isnt and everyone knows someone on the inside:) :) In my case , 2 former colleagues , decorators , that are employed by the club at Chadwell Heath and Academy training grounds. My question re the cud chewing Oaf still stands though Edited April 21, 2015 by newmarket Quote
newmarket Posted April 21, 2015 Report Posted April 21, 2015 The budget he has been allowed since this time last year is even smaller than you think mate. All the flair players to have joined since last summer such as nene and zarate were chosen and signed by Sullivan because the board dont trust the Dinosaur with the money after last seasons debacle . He was given certain mandates last summer very few of which he has acheived . He refuses to give game time to any signings he didnt endorse , giving the board thr finger in the process , gas slagged off the fans and ordered every photo of Mooro Hurst Greenwood etc to be taken down as if our history and heritage never existed . He's a goner but nobody can understand why he is hanging on except for the money. 13th highest paid manager in the WORLD ffs ! Quote
Turnip Posted April 23, 2015 Report Posted April 23, 2015 With Ipswich looking good, it may well be hard to prise Mick McCarthy away, probably cost a bit too, but he is more than capable of residing at a Premiership Club who will allow him to spend money. Quote

newmarket Posted April 26, 2015 Report Posted April 26, 2015 Everton 2-0 up on Man Utd currently . Sam Noshers "But we are 4th" "But we are 5th" "But we are 6th" "But we are 7th" "But we are 8th" "But we are 9th" "But we are 10th" "But we are 11th" Followed by "But he kept us safe" Then next season "But he is the right man to get us out of the bottom 3" Finally the following season "But he is the ideal man to get us back up" :) Quote

newmarket Posted April 26, 2015 Report Posted April 26, 2015 (edited) Final score. Everton 3-0 Manchester United. Pathetic display from Everton. Yes I know they won 3-0, but it was so stupid trying to score more goals. Once they had taken a 1-0 lead early on, they should have tried to shut up shop and park the bus. Why on earth go for more goals? you don't need 3 to win a game you only need 1 and to keep a clean sheet. It worked this time, but another time 3-0 might have been 3-1 and then bang goes the all important clean sheet. Martinez is a fool. :) Edited April 26, 2015 by newmarket Quote

newmarket Posted April 26, 2015 Report Posted April 26, 2015 (edited) Always looking for the positives lolI found one yesterday afternoon mate .He goes by the name of Reece Burke We had a 2 point lead over Southampton, Now we are 13 points behind them We had a 10 point lead over Swansea. Now we are 6 behind them We had a 12 point lead over Stoke, now we are 3 behind them We had a 14 point lead over Everton, now we below them. Our awful form keeps up then we could finish below Crystal Palace and maybe even WBA. We could finish the season as low as 13th. BFS OUT !!!!!! Jer hear me ? OUT i say :) Edited April 26, 2015 by newmarket Quote
