barston lakes but check if they have a match on first

Agreed, if you want a few runs then this is the place to go.

I fished there at the back end of last year and had 18 carp in 24 hours.

Here is a video i made whilst fishing the place with nearly all the carp on camera...

Hodgey, welcome to the forum, mate. Don't know how near to Brum you want to fish and if Ashby de la Zouche isn't too far (12 miles, ish) then give Willesley Lake a look.

It's a pretty place and holds some decent fish. You'll find it on www.Fisheries.co.uk as Carl (Beza) has suggested, above.

how much to fish at barston lakes please and what are the best pegs would i be right in saying between 60 -80

Think it's 15 quid a night but google it and it will tell you, also have to buy a night permit which covers you for a year which is only a tenna.

I fished peg 91 and had 18 carp out. But most pegs fish well there I guess.

I'm in for buying willesley :D

I'd be in.

There's a fishery for sale nearish to you, Neil. Includes a stretch of the Trent, too. Take a look in Fisheries for Sale on www.fisheries.co.uk

It's the one in north Staffs, near Rugeley.

You're right Ian...it's only about 2 miles from me. Funnily enough I used to fish it in the nineties.

I might have a mooch around it later.:D

Our team just got back from Barston Lake, and had a right result..

Top peg was 125 taking over 1300lbs of fish in 48hrs, and i was in pegs 55 & 54 with my fishing partner and had 481lbs so get down there and catch a few yourself, PM me for details if required..
