  1. If fox have a list of dealers on their website then start at the top and work your way down ringing or emailing them , you may find one of the smaller lesser know dealers may still have one in stock.

    Silly Rules

Sorry no drones is not a silly rule , I go to relax not to have some plonker flying a drone all over the place same as bait boats on most waters .
  3. Just because the ingredients are human grade doesn't mean they are safe for fish especially not knowing the quantities used , the food industry use some dangerous chemicals in processed foods that the food agency allow us to eat .
  4. mac donalds is food grade -- say no more
  5. Any more details , i.e weight tactics you used etc . P.s understand you keeping the exact location secret .
  6. Trigger always looked after his broom
  7. I don't buy the there's more anglers on the banks these days . Trout/fly fishing is almost non existent , sea fishing doesn't get the numbers it used to Beaches used to be lined up with anglers when the cod where in just doesn't happen any more . The match scene has died , very few general anglers about . Take a walk down your local river or canal at the weekend and you'll be lucky to see anyone fishing , now think back to the 70's , 80's . Even the lakes used to have more anglers , a small lake I fish used to have about 18 swims and would get busy now its mainly carp it's down to 6 swims due to needing more room. Some swims used to have 3 or 4 different general anglers in one day i.e the morning angler , the afternoon and then the evening now that swim may look busier today but the same angler is in there for 48hrs . We fall ourselves that carp angling is big but I don't think its ever hit the numbers that the match and general scene did in the 70's , 80's . Around here most club memberships are down . Must get on ' need to earn money '
  8. I respect your views Yonny but you can't compare modern carp fishing with the general all round fishing from the 70's , 80's even the 90's and say its not in decline . Fly fishing , sea fishing and coarse fishing are and have been in decline ask any tackle dealer or manufacturer and if answering honestly they will all say the same . Busy day ticket waters are probably more to do with a change in the way anglers are fishing , some would view the day ticket waters as the type the modern instant carper goes to . The types of water that you want to fish are still busy with waiting lists ,but these aren't fished by the majority .
  9. Angling has been in decline for decades now , look back at the history of match fishing some open matches on the big canals would have a 1000 anglers with people turned away . The 70' and 80's where probably the peak in fishing numbers . Carp angling has grown massively in a short space of time with a lot of 'instant anglers' and as in many things these days a lot have just seen it as a money making exercise even to such an extent that kids can't nip to their local lake for a few hour FREE fishing . The sad thing is UK fishing is in decline , will it change probably not . When I've got more time I'll bore you all with my views .
  10. Korda are probably bringing a new net and sling out , so he just priming the market
  11. Anyone looking at preparing particles should look here for guidelines .
  12. your prep sounds fine i.e soaking 24-48 hr them simmer for 30 mins , but do not let your particles dry out otherwise your undoing your prep which is done for the health of the fish . Leave the air drying for boilies if you need to .
  13. Out of interest whats your thinking behind air drying the particles
  14. Being in the right spot is more important than the bait , use a good fishmeal boilie and or corn or maize . Part of the fun is sussing a water out your self .
  15. I'm not sure I'd air dry , you need particles to fully absorb water before using hence the soaking & cooking . Freezing them is fine . I remember pre baiting chick peas every night for a week before fishing a water and having a cracking 24hrs .
  16. I thought Captain Jack died earlier this year .
  17. If ABS was used by Urban baits to roll baits then it's a little out of order to start bitching about ingredients IMO.
  18. Good luck to the guy as Mufty says free advertising . The Dragons gave him an easy ride , no questions about the size of market , percentage of market he has , what the competition is like , does he have a unique selling point/product etc etc . The market is crowded already .
  19. I would still contact 1st just giving them a rough idea of the issues to see what they say .
  20. Just a random thought , but instead of asking the question on here may be drop Delkim an email asking them the question at least you'll know the answer is a correct one . I have these crazy ideas every now and then
