  1. His Profile says Telford and it's his local syndicate so i think it's around Maidstone Sorry couldn't resist that one it was soooo easy lol Unless you knew that and woundered where around Telford in which case forget i commented in the first place
  2. Looks good Cyborx but i bet them willows attract rigs lol Another view slighly to the left of the other shot.
  3. Good luck....I see a 60lb'r on the cards...
  4. If you do take your own make sure there Frozen not shelf life (their rules). If you get stuck or run out they have a selection on site which must be pre ordered but work out at £39.99 per 5kg (£8 p/kg) which aint bad in my books cause if you have no preferance you can turn up having ordered and it saves carrying it frozen hoping it won't thaw in the blistering summer heat lol http://oakwoodfisheries.eu/info/bait/
  5. I've never used the + setting, Stops me nodding off !
  6. Yep that would effect the same results but they were very low anyway as i had tried that before adding weights and back leading
  7. They got some problems with the R3's as discussed on another Forum with a similar web address as our own. Cracking cases seems to be occuring amoungst other issues. Google Nash R3 and you'll see it come up. Might be useful reading..
  8. I would try the 6 mag rollers as there the most sensitive they do, 0.33mm of line movement. I read that the ATTs alarms have an intelligent false indication circuit that learns and i wonder if this could be a problem in your case if the ATT alarm uses the same system ?
  9. Hi. Google search "Carp Fishing Cabins UK" a few results for you to have a look at. To start there's http://www.cherrylakes.co.uk/ Make sure your hubby doesn't throw you back as Wives and Carp Fishing usually clash lol
  10. Yer i see where your coming from Hutch, We need Barbed for hooking and subsequent landing, and Barbless if we snap up and the fish needs to expel the hook. Least evil wins
  11. Hooks must be barbed ! Had to read that 3 times ! Surely if there after getting hooks ejected with a min of damage Barbless would be preferable ?
  12. Is that method what they now term as a kicker Nick ?
  13. Passion for Angling is so much more than catching a fish which is why its my fav. Carpcatcher on youtube my fav Thinking Tackle is good but some shows i have to fast forward if the content seems repetative, But still a good show. Robson Green...................Na
  14. Elton John. Yellow Brick Road Album. Forgot how good this is LOUD
  15. Don't own them but i was fishing recently and commented on how smart a set looked that another carper was using, We had the usual Delkin vs water banter and when he packed up he came over and dropped one in the water and demonstrated how it carried on working lol Impressive, my Delks would scream in agony if i went anywhere near that much water lol
  16. I thought they were made from cast iron and towed behind a boat, Seen it on a program about finding ship wrecks or summit
  17. Yep i see one Forum in particular has a thread raging with disgruntled customers and this won't do the product or Fox any favours, Years ago you might never hear of this issue but the internet has made the world a very small place. I hope they can sort it before things get way out of hand as people are beating on the drum about all their gear which i think is a tad harsh. Own quite a bit of Fox gear and never had an issue that wasn't my fault lol
  18. Not ordered one yet but someone on another Forum said there smaller than the old one so i asked Fox the question regarding size large one not the medium. They said. Fox International "They are smaller in size to the Spomb, however because you can completely fill these where before you could only half (just over half) fill a Spomb, the amount of bait they carry is virtually the same." They are a snazzy colour tho lol
  19. Yep looking at his Vids did give me a slight push towards the venue and what surprised me when i first arrived water level wise ! It's amazing if you consider just how many litres of water it's down by, I don't think i'll return until the water does to be honest unless he's caught before spring lol If you follow my right rod to the tip directly above that on the far bank was 2 guys and one was teaching the other some casting techniques, I bet he's gonna wonder why the distance will be halved when he hasn't got the wind giving him a hand
  20. Wanted to try another venue around Northants. Naseby had some half sharp reviews so i loaded the camel and trotted off this am for a first attempt at Kippering. First thought on arrival was who's gone and nicked half the water ! First issue was trying to glue my Bivvy down with pegs that were pushed into what is the soft lake bed....Not very inspiring and i have attached a short video for entertainment, I don't mind a bit of wind but it did get a tad ruff at times. Second issue Delkims were in full song everytime a gust got up so i added 2 x5g weights to each indicator, A tad tighter on the runners with a small back lead and all fell silent, Unfortunately for the rest of the session which means i blanked but if i learnt nowt else its to either wait for water to rise to an acceptable level or get some mega long pegs to keep the Bivvy grounded.
