  2. Get some tungsten putty...its like plasticine but weighs a lot...you can mold little blobs around your hooklink then it sinks!!

You don't need to use leadcore to fish a chod...fish it straight off your mainline...was using avid chod beads but didn't like them as they kept slipping on 15lb GR60 now using solar unleaded leaders or, thaks to Dougmoon for showing me this one at Sandhurst, korda sinker with bead over chod and another sinker with bead job done hope this helps

  10. Another vote Heavy Metal...I've been using it on fluoro hooklinks for the last few months with no problems...got to manipulate between your fingers for a while first though
  11. This is just stupid... Boil it in the Microwave for 24 hours (no less than this otherwise it'll remain toxic to the Carp) then soak it for 30 minutes... I thought everyone new this

As it says people I'm trying to find a syndicate near me (Sheffield for those who don't know) for next year I don't have many requirements, Carp over 30lb maybe the odd 40lb nice, safe and quiet environment. The usual stuff I guess I'd like it to be about an hour at most so South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire...any help would be great!!

  18. Why wouldn't it have?? Great chance to meet up with like minded folk, learn a thing or two and have a great time! If two members have fallen out so be it, but theres a lot more than two members on this forum who haven't fallen out. Come on gents let's get back to normal, and with a social section, I was looking forward to joining you lot on one one day...

  20. Pit 4 has Carp to 31lb plus bream and tench...apparently pit 5 has produced the biggest Carp of all the pits at 39lb 12oz...maybe I should try 5 Just read on website a 40lb has been out of 6 this year
