  1. Good tip never thought of that...although knowing me I'd forget I'd put it there...
  2. Another vote Heavy Metal...I've been using it on fluoro hooklinks for the last few months with no problems...got to manipulate between your fingers for a while first though
  3. Sufix heavy skin is what I use
  4. If it's strength you're after go with Cobelyns advice, check out the size of fish he catches I use Gardner muggas...

    Rig Setup

    None...
  6. I fish most of the time with mono/fluro. I have some braid but just prefer the monos...don't know why maybe someone can convince me to use braid a bit more

    zigs

I use fox zig/floater hooklink, works for me, hooks are some fox ones in size 10 which are a very small 10, armapoint I think

    zigs

I use one of these but not with an in-line lead I have the slik ring and link for attaching the lead it comes up every time no problem
  9. I've had more success using size 10/12 (gardner muggas) hooks rather than chod hooks which tend to only be available in the bigger sizes but the fish I catch are in the 10/20 lb range

    An easy rig

I've been looking for something different to try, think I'll give this a go thanks for posting Does that say KORDA mouthtrap?? Danny would be proud
  14. Thanks!! I was struggling with this too
  15. Know what you mean about the boilie thing...maybe I'll try sweetcorn, luncheon meat etc...it was only an idea when I get bored and see any fish near the surface have a rod set up with float/zig and have a go
  16. Thanks Cobleyn looks like I'll be trying a zig then
  17. Ok can anyone tell me why I couldn't try float fishing a bait rather than zig rig to try the different depths?? Only difference I can see is the hair rigged bait would be upside down and if carp tend to go down onto food they would see a big hook just above the bait...apologies if this is a crazy idea in advance or maybe it's a brilliant idea and I could sell it to korda for £1000s
