I get 3 fx9 out of 1 spool about the same on them I think even if it takes another 30 odd yards over the stated it wouldn’t be a problem

Don’t rule out particle fishing at this time of the year.it’s hot and you may just get them on bits and pieces just tune your hook bait to suit

If it’s a 1000 yard spool just wind it on it should do all 3 and some left over if you have a spare spool you could just fit it to the reel and wind off 100 turns of the old stuff first that will take off Around 95M if it takes 0.95m for a turn of the handle the manufacturer website will probably give you that info. then just wind the new line on top

To put it in perspective I haven’t had a “proper fish“ since lockdown ended either I took my grandson fishing and we had a few bits between us in an hours fishing

If you look around you can usually find sonik rods on a 3 for 2 deal i used to have the old s4 model and never had any problems with them there’s a few on here that swear by sonik gear

I just burnt the ends with a lighter But you can tie a knot in it and use a bait stop if you want. I just never do it is oral b waxed unscented dental floss. when you Have burnt down the ends just touch the floss with the side of the lighter and it will flatten it (Like the head of a nail) and it will stop the floss pulling out again It’s Easier to do on a pop up

Try this sorry again this is only 1 way to do it change the sweet corn to a pop up you can also change the floss to fishing line if you do not have any floss use a lighter to burn down the ends of the floss

You will need to find a caravan supplies place if you want a new one failing that eBay and check under caravan fridges as they usually run on 12volt, mains or gas
