  9. I had a guy come up to me on Tuesday and said he was gutted to see me in a swim as he spent Monday afternoon when they opened piling it in. i said ‘I wish you hadn’t told me that” I got deflated not knowing if he had put too much in and scared the fish off as they haven’t had food in months and I left probably 2 hours later. I will be going back on Monday though lol this lake even doesn’t get many people on it even first full day of opening only had 4 others on it lol
  10. Not really most people do up the door fully so carbon monoxide cannot escape 2 why would you put a naked flame in a tent that is extremely flammable you would be better with a decent sleeping bag or a cover put the unhooking mat on top of the bivvy a hot water bottle its not really that cold at this time of the year so you shouldn’t really need a heater anyway If you do Decide to use the heater please be careful and don’t become One of the statisticS
  11. Just buy a file and you can turn almost any hook into a good hook if needed I don’t sharpen every hook as it depends on the water fishing a runs water is totally different to fishing a fish a season water

  13. There’s a video around somewhere of this being done it’s not only Korda hooks but use a heavier lead and it drives it in Im Sure the video Suggests a 4 or 5 oz is perfect for the bigger hooks
  14. I meant the Korda varieties being wafters? never used them so wouldn’t know but slow sinking to me would say wafter
  15. Aren’t they all just wafters?
  16. I have some tigers in the hinders betalin In a pop up pot and in another pot some esp corn and the rubber/plastic pop ups they do

  18. The ones I have must be packaged wrong then lol I didn’t think there was a lot of difference in either
  19. That’s all well and good but he was asking about 2 hooks from the same brand and what the difference is between the hook pattern from what I remember is the stinga is a thicker wire so making it their stronger hook For snag fishing
  20. I seem to remember from somewhere bicarbonate of soda for a bee sting vinegar for a wasp sting
  21. Make sure you rub it in as you will always miss a few bits by just spraying
  22. It is the right version. shame it doesn’t work for you but I would keep persevering with it I started using it again last week (For the first time in a couple of years) as I got bit on Sunday 6 times and swelled up like a ballon touch wood, not been got since
  23. Not “strictly“ naked If you are putting it in a leader as then it’s no different to a lead core leader
