  1. Would have thought a lot of this goes against GDPR rules especially if there’s no way to turn it off
  2. Won’t get 39 turns on a standard carp hook For a really easy knot search for knotless knot.
  3. You would have thought a peg should be able to do its job without thinking about it kind of like that picture they could use a set of wings or prongs like a fork on the top part of it that you can stand on at the end to give it a final push home once wound in as an added bit of security. there ya go kev a proper bit of development that will keep the company afloat a while longer
  4. Loook what’s just come up in my feed lol https://www.facebook.com/reel/728762759986002?fs=e&s=TIeQ9V&fs=e&fs=e
  5. I have a telescopic version that I can use to drop baits in over a marginal shelf or in between trees and branches
  6. But then there’s wet knot strength and dry knot strength lol i just tie a knot As I have no preference I might tie a palomar grinner of blood knot never even think about it if I’m honest I don’t think you can put enough pressure on any knot to snap it unless you either tie it wrong pull it straight not using the curve of the rod Or the line is damaged.
  7. The tackle box in Kent do a line test with a set knot here’s the link may be of use to you https://tacklebox.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/TB2818-Line-Test-PDF-Issue-14-011124-003.pdf
  8. Twice through the eye grinner great knot I would say slide the knot down to the eye rather than pull it like the video
  9. But if the messiah is promoting it then It will sell like hot cakes 🫣 it’s all about the money, money, money we really need your money, money, money.. (sic)
  10. Something from the past …. hmmmm
  11. New bait probably due out autumn at a guess but my guess is something along the lines of either the source or complex T or what about something like monster pursuit…..
  12. I’d be looking at between 12 and 15lb if you get 2 spools on the reel then I would get both one for the open water fishing and the other for the “snaggier” areas. If you can only afford the one line then get the 15lb imo I would be looking at fishing the margins on a float and hopping between swims Float fishing with sweetcorn or luncheon meat on the hook. bobs ya uncle…
  13. Check the rules on the lake you are fishing for line strengths or diameters no point getting kicked off before you start for being under gunned. most of my type of fishing is done with 4000 size reels and have no problems.
  14. My first “bivvy” was the old Shakespeare cypry dome. bought it on cheque spread from Penge angling. wouldn't like to think how much that was in todays money.
  15. I also hate the term quick overnighter lol i also don’t care how long the shelter takes to put up so when they say it only takes less than a minute to put up that really doesn’t interest me It takes me longer than that to get all the bits out of the bags and then it would be the last thing to go up if at all, i get all the head room I want with nothing over the top. I just want covering if it’s going to rain lol tend to get less bothered by mozzies also I find. back to your problem. If you barrow all the kit around then yep it probably really doesn’t matter if you carry it then it does. im afraid it’s going to be which one suits you best good Luck with whatever one you choose 👍 Ps never seen the ninja rods but I use the ninja reels and I really like them I also have a set of the shimano tx compact 4 piece but in 12foot 2.5tc
