  1. No mate the original ones the diffusion although I believe there two of the same
  2. Yep think they renamed them from Diffusion to D-Cam.
  3. I’ve got about 7 diffusion ones left……. I was at Merrington last wk I should of popped in for a brew and a few of your D-Cam ones 🤣🤣🤣 Hope your well,Nige.
  4. Backs shot to pieces but the strong painkillers have got me on cloud 9 🤣🤣😬😎
  5. I’ve used swivels flossed on and pushed into bait I’m not sure about the movement bit tbh mate I use oval bait screws and they have never let me down tbh. In saying that I don’t think I fish many ‘riggy’ waters and try to concentrate on a nice sharp big hook and decent presentation
  6. Bait screw for me 100% easy and less fiddling than bait floss when the old eyes and fingers start going 🙄🤣🤣 Bank Tackle do em cheap as chips the only thing make sure your pop up is super buoyant as the screw adds a tiny bit of extra weight to the rig.
  7. If you can get hold of em and that’s a big If nowadays Nash Diffusion leaders really do need to be seen to be believed. @nigewoodcock why don’t you do them anymore there very hard to come by nowadays I know the diffusion got renamed D-Cam i think ? But I’ve struggled to get any over the last few years unless you get lucky on flea Bay Come on Nige have a word with ya boss !!!!! 🤣🤣😬😎
  8. Buy cheap buy twice Id of had to of binned them would of done my confidence no end of damage sitting behind static indicators 🤣🤣🤣
  9. Last wk on a little social with a few mates 😬😎🎣
  10. Yes mate would be a bit far for you I actually work alongside the Mersey that’s how close I am but the better marks are a 15min car journey for me my mate informs me it’s getting quite a reputation for the rays up this end. When I was a kid the Mersey was just a polluted dirty hole but it’s cleaned up over the years. Glad your enjoying your angling matey
  11. Fair enough mate, yes I’m all good thanks. I did something similar that carp angling took a back seat and I spent time on the rivers and also targeted other species by design instead of lucky catches on the carp rods although I still have the odd session i class myself as an all round numpty instead of a carp numpty nowadays 🤣🤣🤣 I’ve still not had a session on the Mersey for the rays even tho I’m literally 5 mins away something I’ve promised myself to do and my angling buddy is a decent sea angler it’s the old too many fish not enough time to catch ‘em all 🙄🤣🤣 Glad your enjoying your angling matey.
  12. Emmcee how are you ? I seem to remember that you got into sea fishing a few years ago so have you packed in the carp game all together? I seem to remember you catching some right lumps
  13. I’ve upgraded a few bits over the past few years but that’s just down to wear and tear and me chasing other species over the past few years. I caught a PB roach last month on a rod that is 22 years old and a reel that is 19 years old…… still my go to set up when fishing for smaller species…… my rod actually snapped (it’s more than paid for itself over the years) but it’s that good a rod instead of shelling out a couple of 100£ for a new one I got it repaired…….. I genuinely cried when it smashed giving it the big un after bream and roach…… it was like loosing an old friend 🙄🙄🤣🤣 It is tempting to buy new shining things but as Yonny has said is it better than the kit you already have I see so much half decent tackle for sale due to upgrades I think what you upgrading to gold plated reels 🤔🤔🤣🤣
  14. I usually spent my nights under the groundhog for 80% of my night angling as most of my overnight are from March to November. If I do go for over 48hrs or the weather is really inclement i bought a second hand (mint condition) JRC Extreme brolly system for £120 off a mate a few years ago and it’s been pretty sound tbh. It is a bit heavy (10kg) but rock solid has an infill to stop condensation heavy duty groundsheet and quite spacious. Definitely one to look at if there is any knocking around.
  15. Ha ha up the ammers !!!!! Yes mate the large ones matey
  16. Hello mate ! Last time we spoke my team had never won the Prem and your lot was relegation fodder !!!!! How times have changed over the last few years matey. My heart attack knocked me for 6 tbh and I’ve never felt the same since but I went back work I still get out quite a bit fishing so life ain’t too bad, thanks. I had some of the cygnet butt grips and they did start to mark the cork probably more down to me getting too excited on a take and ripping them out 🙄🙄🤣🤣 but as I’ve said I’ve had no problems with the Nash ones they don’t look like they should be as strong as they are but they really do grip the rod and the only way they unlock is when you lift the rod up vertically.
  17. Been using Nash Butt locks for the last few years on my carp and barbel set ups no complaints from me think there around £13 a pop but I’m a sucker for cork handles and found the tight rubber type ones left marks on the cork when putting the rod in and out.
  18. Sorry Ian,it wasn’t this thread it was one labelled Coronavirus nooooooo or something and Nick and Ocosha started a debait that in my judgement seen nick get the hump and lock it for no reason........ and that was the end of Ocosha 🙁🙄
  19. Read back it’s about a thread being locked it was Nick P00 P00ing about covid 19 and how it wasn’t that much of a big deal........ 41,000 deaths later I’d say it was but unfortunately we lost a long term serial poster due to it. 🤔🙁 Hope you and Alan are well, mate.
  20. As always,mega fish and write up ! 😬😎🎣
