    BAA have pools and lakes too with carp to over 30lb. http://www.baa.uk.com/where_to_fish/default.php They've also rivers with carp to 40lb and a few decent ones in the canal system as well. They have 2 pools near upton with good fish in them, Inc grassies to over 25lb

    Just remembered, there are bait bans. Last time I looked there is a whole list of baits that you can't use. I mean serious list asked for some rules( was gonna fish a match there) and the baits banned are huge, from memory I think, no boilies, their pellet only, no nuts or seeds. No meat. It was 2 yes ago so may have changed. You need to check before you go though

    Thanks for that, I've never fished the Wye, but seem to remember someone posting that they'd had one out of the boathouse stretch on here. Mabey one of the mods may find the thread for you. I've looked and can't find it. Andy
