  1. i know that on the 2nd severn bridge if you got van with window on the side, at the back, if you get me . its a lot cheeper than a solid sided van, cos its classed as a mini bus
  2. very reliable, came from a regular that fished there , he had an unknown 30 out and that went too. he told me the baliff told him about the netting

  7. i too wish you luck but i pay £225 for fishing a lake in that general area, 5 acres and it contain's mainly 20's and a dozen 30's

  10. hey guy's puzzle for you. years ago( late 70's early 80's) i used to get a fishing mag( can't remember the name) but each month chris yates did an article called shining times which were tales of his fishing. now my questin.... did he compile them into a book, would love to get them again

  12. yeah fished it in oct, the going tactic was loads of particle with KG1 or Cell boilies over the top. had 6 fish to 16lb, took some getting used to as a run consisted of 1 bleep on the delk's , going back in spring. hope this helps

  15. When i said teaching him i ment to say he stopped about 12 yrs a go, so it's just bringing him up to date with rigs/tactics. Hey linear has to be better than where he wants to go (horseshoe) he saw mr hayes on telly and fancies trying it, so wanna find some where thats as picturesque as h/shoe but where he got a chance of bending his new rods
  16. went up for a look about 3yrs ago just as the new owners had taken over and were just finising stages on bottom pool. they had restocked silvers into 'match pool' and ended up with a huge fish kill( they were all carp, and insisted it was'nt KHV) had also been told the sturgeon was already in the top lake, but after talking to one of the friends of the owner it appears they were taken from another lake without EA permission. this is not posted as to rubbish this fisery but just to pass on what i know
  17. going to be trying linear in the spring, and teaching a mate to carp fish at the same time( he can pay peg fee's ) and suggestions/advice for getting a few out/ which lake's are good for a few runs
