I went in the garage to find a mouse has destroyed part of my coolbag, including the zip and insulation , so that's [censored]ed 
I looked at all the options and thought none of the top fishing ones really did the job I wanted which was house all the stove, gas, brew kit and toastie maker in the pockets and have enough space for food and drinks etc most seem to want you to have a seperate brew kit or don't allow all the options, so after much deliberation I saved some money and I've bought another ngt one for £20, the last one I had lasted years fitted all the brew kit in the external pockets leaving the big section free for food and drink, I've gone posh this time and gone camo 😂 

I'll have a full butchers when have a good dry day or 2.

Iv been lucky with not getting Covid so far, hang on a min got to touch some wood, but I work on my own mostly and don’t come into contact with a lot of people. A landlord I work for has had Covid 3 times this year twice on holiday to the Le Mans race + Florida and last month. Last year he had it twice.  😳  

Theres a flu like bug down my way hits you for 4 weeks

I've not had a single positive yet, son n wife have and rest of family but not me.
Wife works for NHS in local hospital, also the local outpatient centre and various doctors around wigan.....so whatever injection she has/had, I've also had.
But I also think I have a good immune system, also my line of work is outdoors.

Iv found as Iv got older I got less of the Xmas spirit… it has been mild of late that could have something to do with it for some people

Sorting the areas is different 
winter usually means less anglers on the bank to disturb so you can find areas to target no one to spot what you are doing and finding etc
find where the sun hits first,Midday etc. and then use those as the possible likely areas after the freeze when it happens 
and if it doesn’t ??
you have done the hard part at the crappiest fishing time (for humans) anyway so you can then concentrate on the catching 👍👍

why bother getting something going and then have to stop if there is a freeze

Got out last night on an old estate lake. I managed 15 runs! 11 carp, one large roach/bream hybrid, and a surprise 2lb roach! I lost one tiny carp at the net. 
 
nothing massive, biggest was a ghostie about 11lb, but excellent winter sport. 

Not a purchase but a gift off the son of the cleaner who works at a house Iv worked on, a carper he rolls his own bait and was having a sort out this is the second lo.t Iv had off him
The boilies il keep are frozen and the tubs of pop ups il give away…any more than the 3 pots I use will only confuse me.
