The Brown are humps I can feel when I was dragging back to feel about, the green is the roots coming through.... Looks bad but its not as bad as I thought, but I'm not fishing in it, I'm fishing before/off em.

It's in between EVERY peg (lilly roots), there's nothing in front of pegs. Or even in the middle, I think when full summer comes it will look quite nice... Like a row of lilly beds inbetween each peg. Else where isn't so bad really, I've found 2 clear (ish) spots, 1 in middle and 1 about 2 rod lengths out.

I had a good night sleep, apart from the lost 1 yesterday, not a bleep during night. Mat has had 2 mirrors, both about 7lb, also lost 1.... This is what the bottom looks like, luckily not been snagged yet.

I've just Google mapped the new place I'm fishing Both have about same stamp of fish, 1 is slightly deeper than the other.... I'll have the deeper out on both to see what's what on each.... I've got my gate key and card this morning.... I've phoned the owner and there's only about 20 members on this place... Mainly match guys and about 5 carers.... Mate has been wanting to fish this place since he was a kid.... Been about 20yrs that too...

I'm out Saturday and this is a 50/60 Yr old pond/lake.... I think there's some wary wild old carp in here and will be on the naturals bait.... Corn, Hemp, Maize, Tigers.... Will try some crumbed up Manilla also.

I've just fou d an old picture from here.... Some Propper Job pop ups given to me back then.... Think the shelf fell down in shed and most were eaten by rodents.

I've been looking at Proper Jobs lately, seen a vid online (Carpy Chris).... They were bolt upright still after a week, still pastel colours, but I think flavour lost.

This is what I have done, I've got about 200mtrs on each spool, and I've backed em up with an old spool of Daiwa Sensor (clear) so I know I'm upto the right spot. I was getting the same, all piling up at the top or either bottom, solved by adjusting the washers inside the reel, either add 1 or takeaway... I used another reel to wind off, the rewon it back onto the original spool... Presto.... On the 2nd picture it has slightly done it, but has worked off over time. Spare spools...

That's the thing with mine, no middle hopper, just the flipper.... Does the same job I suppose, also for pulling along the Deeper. I've got a tub of 2 & 4mm pellets, these will be my mesh ball bags, then I've got about 25kg of Aller Aqua 8mm pellets to go with the Manilla n Particles from May.

Think in a way mine, give more attraction, but well see Friday.... Going all Krill to use up my last bucket of it... About 2kg.

I used to be an impulse buyer, "ooooo think I need that", then buy it, couple months later, sell it. Now I just have what I need, but I really do need to replace the Delkim I left at the park lake. (Numpty). Now its just bait n hooks, to make sure I catch them biguns.
