  4. I had the same problem..bought second hand bivvy and like always thought to waterproof it again...i would spend on summat decent so it will last..i used fabsil from go outdoors...awsome...i poured about 2/3rd of the tin in a bowl and washed on with large sponge and let dry in the sun...looks brand new.

    IQ2

The main benefit of the Extra Soft IQ2 is the way it responds to bait in the water. A standard IQ holds the bait in a relatively fixed position whereas the Extra Soft IQ allows the bait to move more ‘naturally’ in the water. To me is more suited to using a wafter on a 2inch home made chod rig 🎣🎣

  7. Hi all...this is what i have spooled on mine...just being a tart as i thought camo looking will keep with the under water look (hopefully)

    Zig Rig ??

OMG...wot a read...so basically depends on depth of water but can be used anywere instead of surface fishing or using a float/controller... But have been looking at the Korda pre tied rigs but its weird how they will just take foam but i know it should be gooed/flavoured.. Might even try small 8mm pop ups doubled up first.. 🎣🎣🎣 Thanks so far..

    Zig Rig ??

Hi..still new to Carp Fishing but im sure im hetting there now. A friend was out today and went up for a ride...asked what/how he was fishing and reied "using Zigs" i didn't want to sound thick so just said oh rite... What are the full useage of zigs...is it a way of surface fishing or summat.
  10. These do look cool...but too much for me too soon..
  11. A bit like these Buzz...wot are these ?? Look well mad these..
  12. Cheers cloud9 will do...but my next rigs will have quick stops on the hair so there easier to put on boilies instead of fiddling with stops...🎣🎣
  13. Honestly...since ive started carp fishing a few weeks ago ive just used pre tied rigs but amended them to hold 1/2 boilies and not missed a take (4 carp only) but back of my mind its not what ive made..ginna try these out at weekend but hair rigs are the easiest to make..when i dont het bites i change the bait or location...i only fish inline also..
  14. Hi all...been busy while a week off work...20 hair rigs made but only shrank tubed 10 on the hook shank/eye...should i shrink tube the swivel attachments also ?? Some are for 1 boilie and some for 2... Should i make any others or keep to what i know.. A friend swears by the Ronnie rig..
  15. My Staffie "Tye" ..gettin on abit now..nearly 14yrs had him..
  16. That will be my next purchase...Campingaz stove/burner,kettle and ridge monkey...cant wait for my first night session...looking at Cudmoore in a couple of weeks for this.
  17. They have served well so far...only 2 outings but a friend has the Nash pursuit cirk handles n they look fab... But as a starter i will persist then hopefully upgrade soon..
  18. I bought a full 3 rod setup with everything but upgraded the alarms to the VS alarms with the built in snag ears..used the rods once but as they are fibreglass and not carbon, might upgrade to Sonik SKS or SK3/SK4 but like the look or Nash Pursuits... NGT also do carbon but in a Dynamic range. But as a starter i will soon learn and find out from friends with info.
  19. As i am a new starter to carp fishing i cant help but notice 1 of the cheaper brands NGT sell all carp gear but is it any good... You have top makes Korda, ESP, Taska, Korum but how good is NGT. ??
  20. Guess how much i paid....£20 jus need a clean and i also treated with Fabsil. The guy who sold it was literally giving all his gear away..Wychwood 6500 Big Pit Reels x 2 £40, Korum Chair n Luggage (holdall, rod bag, lead n bits bag reel poch x2) £25. Said he couldn't be bothered no more.
  21. Hi As i am a new starter in carp fishing, i was wondering what would be a good starter bivvy... I have just invested in this Chub S-Max Plus for a bargain price (you'll never believe) Is this a good bivvy??
