RIGHT...ive soaked my line for 12hrs in water...loaded on both my reels... PROBLEM...if i get a 3rd reel...i need a new spool. My BP10 spools hold 440 yards of line at 0.35mm...440 yards is 402mtrs...2 spools at 804 meters out...of 1000mtr spool.

I always carry 3 for 2 reasons... I have always used 2, but when my son comes i chuck him 1 out. When using 2 and having a 3rd setup ready, for when i bring a fish in...i can wack the 3rd straight on the spot....TIMESAVER

The local water i have joined..is a 1st time ever for a bailiff...used to be an open access...but the owner of the on site ice cream parlour has bought the 2 lakes and also bailifs...the lad (24) who is bailiffing at night (every) is a lad who used to fish it years back on a regular basis and knows the 2 waters and people inside out...also us members when fishing look over the waters and we all have Membership cards if we get asked why we doing it...

Based on Yonnys...absolute knowledge...going down the ALL ROUNDER option...ESP syncro XT 15lb or Daiwa sensor CLEAR in 12lb or 15lb...these also have a breaking strain higher and smaller diameter than stated..

Ive had my gardner line on for about 12 month now but was stored in a cupboard in garage for a while...new spool i think for new reels.

Thought about Braid...some waters i planto fish next year dont allow braid as mainline...might stick to my Gardner but a new spool.

Ooo yeh...remember that...mainly an all rounder but i never cast far...at most 50 60 yards but do like a good snag/feature if there is 1..at moment im on Gardener GTHD 15lb..the copolymer line.

Honestly the best alarms ive ever had...dropped em in water...been frozen...poured down on...the range as quite good too...will be keeping hold of these for a while now as they are registered and lifetime guaranteed with sonik. If i was to upgrade it would be the next up to Sonik the SKX.

Mate has 3 Nash BP10 reels pretty decent near mint condition...he been out n bought 3x Nash dwarf rods....he says his BP10 reels dont fit.... So would i swap my 2 Dwarf BP6 reels plus some cash for his 3 BP10 reels... Thoughts please...as too me...dawrf bp6 reels look nearly harder to find these days.

Friday had a little stumble at footy...sore knee...went shop for bread n milk yesterday...missed the step n nearly went flying...all weight on sore knee...resulting in fractured knee...now on crutches..😭😭
