    BuckWheat

Haven't used hemp seed for a few years now, became to expensive and quality seemed to drop too. I am now using my own spomb mix, over method feeders, was very impressed how the buckwheat 'resembled' large hemp seed when cooked, might be worth a try for others on here?

  3. Would have thought a lot of this goes against GDPR rules especially if there’s no way to turn it off

    New purchases

Fortis compact binos, brilliant - should have changed mine years ago, these are so steady - couldn't put them down tbh πŸ‘ also as a review: really like the wader bucket after owning a few months now - they're great, waders are clean and dry and ready in the swim where you want them, deffo waterproof πŸ‘

  6. I had a good look through settings and couldn't find anything to turn it off on my Samsung phone and tablet. Ai notes on Facebook posts have gotten ridiculous as well; asking what my dogs temperament is, how do you look after Sky, really bugs me.

  7. Are you happy with Ai listening in? I get so many adverts after checking links on here and not all are the good type... I have flicked the search on fleabay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=bivvy+pegs&_sacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p4432023.m570.l1313 I don't mind ebay adverts, I use it anyway.

  8. How big is the lake, do you need to cast long distances? If the answer is no to the above then I'd be on 15lb, 18lb or 20lb mainline (though you should still be able to cast a fair way with either breaking strain line). You should be looking at a mainline that is known for being abrasion resistant especially with the presence of lily's, reed beds and tree over hangs etc as the carp will want to get into these if you hook them. Hooklinks are personal choices and should really be determined by what the lake bed is like, gravel, silt, clay etc, suit your hooklink to whichever you're fishing over. As for the breaking strain, most are between 15lb to 25lb I'd say and once again with the lily's etc I'd go on the heavier side personally.

    Reservoir diary

Sealed my waders with fantastic elastic flexible glue, Β£1.59 from poundland, it's done the job πŸ‘Œ My mate had to go home on day 4 for work, but I stuck it out. My session has been saved by a small common tonight πŸ‘ Happy days πŸ‘

    Today's thought.

Oh grief! I am so wound up. My father is 84, and has dementia so my brother and I split visits with him a few times a week each as he is still independent and living on his own. Today was my day, and I had to be there from 10am until his normal medication delivery arrived, but immediately after had to go pick up his antibiotics prescription from Boots and do him some shopping, which involved a trip into town. So one of the 'homeless' trying to 'help' at the car park ticket machine, in other words beg. This idiot chose to give me verbals in Ipswich town centre, and then decided to try to push me when I refused his assistance as I paid on my card. I put him down and left him tangled up in the post at the car park. Got back to my car and he was taking photos of my car. He then tried to carry on with the mouth and wanting to fight. I just picked his bike up and moved it and him out of the way. You can see what happened to his trousers when I left him attached to the post by the waistband
