Just had a 2hr walk around the Park Lake.....wooooooow has it changed since last time I was there. There was 3 lads fishing, 2 didn't come out the Bivvy while u was there, the other lad I was talking too and even helped set up. It was only his 3rd time there, put him on a few spots and was getting indications after about 30min. Had a good chat about fishing and found out he only lives up road from me 🤣🤣

  2. Yeah it's not for me, if I wanted it off the bottom I'd use a pop-up rig, but I'm sure it works just like all rigs work in the right situation. I have 2 rigs that do it all and both are versions of the multi rig. They want to sell us all sorts of stuff to put a rig together, when you start needing swivels to connect the hook and pointless weights I'm out. But if I start blanking badly I might revisit lol

Just keep it simple in a bag.

Personally I would use a an uncoated braid, as it would be supple, you could leave a coated section at the lead end to act as an anti tangle sleeve, What type of hookbait and rig set up are you using? I would use a 4 or 6 hook probably. KD rigs work pretty well in a bag.

    Today's thought.

Out of hospital at 5pm yesterday, and stayed the night at my mother's house so she could Childmind and Sky-sit. I did have a typical reaction to morphine in the middle of the night, made me physically sick. Had to get up, get downstairs and into the bathroom in a hurry, not fun. Then of course that upset Sky, so after I'd sorted myself out I put her on the lead and took her into the garden so she could pee. Poor dog, from about midnight until 5am, I was waking up, every hour at least once, so she simply did not know what to do.
