  1. My everyday 3 rod set of alarm is an old fox DXR 2 rod set is a set of SX (since put into the shed now I have got a set of jag 2plus1 bars) also have a set of ace alarms just in case both of these have vibration and roller wheel so I think I’m good for the next 20 years lol

  2. This is for the QI range The most expensive alarms I've ever seen, they do look smart though but way out of my price range at £225 per head +£240 for the receiver, wouldn't mind seeing the features and price of the Q range also being released, but it's a strong move pricing above fox and delks top of the range, they do look the bailicks though 😉 These just popped up on the next video afterwards, these look pretty good at a reasonable price and have some decent features £230 for a set of 3 with receiver

  4. If it was on my doorstep, I’d be all over it. Can’t beat keeping in touch and walking the banks regularly.

  5. That makes sense I guess I never really fish that far to properly test an alarm maybe one day 😂

  6. No. They come into their own with very tight lines at very long range imo. The DXR and the ACE are quality but not made anymore and no support/spares.

  7. It is a nice place, I saw a pic of the Ivo lin on Instagram the other day, I wouldn't mind having another go for that, but I also quite fancy some of the other lakes now also, I could see me trying again one day,

  9. I think I’ll stick with my nevilles... those alarms cost more than my car! With the delks/nevilles, the delks are more sensitive I found, with the ability to adjust the sensitivity. I just love my nevilles though!

  10. Nice one👍I’ll wait; won’t be using them before April. I’ve got enough low-oil pellets to tide me over till then.

  11. Yes mate. Only alarm currently on the market with both roller and vibration. That's the reason I'm interested. Just another roller alarm buddy. Sexy though.

  12. My Soniks work but they aren't very tarty 😂 I keep looking at other alarms but never quite decide so stick with them, I would like to know if the Edwards custom upgrade alarms are any good, I also think I would like a set of nevilles but know deep down they probably arent even as good as my Soniks but they look pretty 😂

  13. You would need a good reason to buy these same for the delks and high end fox alarms I'm temped myself to go with a new set of alarms, like the Gardner ATTs, get them on 12 months interest free those and a nice Cygnet quickloc pod and minimal swan bars all in green, down low and tarty ha ha

  14. It's just a sensor that detects vibration mate. The delks use a stylus sensor system. I think the sensor is mounted in the roller system on these.

  15. Yeah I watched that one, it’s a bit of a trek from me though! Cheers pal.

  16. I'm not quite sure exactly how vibration sensing works, I understand a roller gets moved by the line being pulled which creates the signal on the roller magnet but I've never had a vibration set does that just work on feedback from the tension in the line or something? They are blooming expensive though, I knew they would be pricey but wasn't expecting that,

  17. I've been keeping an eye on/waiting for these for what seems like ages now. I watched the vid last week. I'm not happy with the explanation of the vibration detection. It says that the alarms are smart enough to detect when to use the roller and when to use vibration. HOW? The alarm doesn't know how far out I'm fishing and it doesn't know how tight my lines are. If it doesn't know that then how can it detect which to use? I'll wait for more info from Wolf because there's no way I'm spending 900+ unless they do everything I want and more lol.

  18. New batches in April, that will have a 10-12 month shelf life on them if that helps 👍 If I need some before though I think I can use them before September(subject to an ease in restrictions by the bafoon in the chair) 😢

  19. I emailed the company last night, this batch have a shelf life til July /September, he said they shouldn't really go off but they may lose some of the vitamins, I would probably use them by then if we were allowed out play 😢

  20. It tends to be the carrier for the flavour that repels fish if in high quantities so chances are they will be to strong. Try making your own dips with essential oils or natural flavours & it will be ok to soak them.

  21. If you are using Boilie dips then my advice is to fish single hookbaits, with limited or no freebies around it. You are relying on the attraction of the Hookbait to pull the carp to the bait. As for overdosing, even with shop bought dips and glugs, unless you know that they don't contain any ingredients that, in excess, can repel carp then its possible that they can be overdosed. I much prefer Glugs/dips that contain things like Nutramino, Multimino, CSL Liquid, but with no added flavours. It tends to be the flavours that act as a repellant in excess. Who knows what percentage of flavour in a dip is going to make it repellant? Its also far better to get the carp onto a long term food source bait and feed regularly, (even when not fishing), than to fish Attractor baits as in many waters the carp are now getting extremely wary of Hi-Vis and/or overflavoured hookbaits.
