Winter flavours

So I have been humming and haring about what flavoured boilie to get made for winter ..And have decided on a combination  of banana nut and spice ..what sort of flavours is every body else using this winter

If I’m not testing anything then it’ll be a creamy flavour or a nut mix with a fruity flavour on it. 

Only because I’m changing venue though. If I wasn’t then I’d be inclined to just reduce the amount of fishmeals I’m using. 

I also tend to use a Brazil nut on one rod through winter. Not sure why I do it, and it’s never accounted for any extra fish but I just do.

Fruity flavour  combined with an essential oil. That's a winner. An ethyl alcohol based flavour preferably as it's a thin liquid and better for leakage. My current flavour for winter is premier baits tropical fruit. It's very thin and has superb leakage.

Pineapple pop ups are hard to ignore for singles in winter.

The last few winters I've done really well on purple pop ups.

2 different flavours but both good results.

i'll use the same bait as i use in summer, which is a mixture of different bollies, of various flavours. 

Only thing i really change is i use maggots a lot more and i like to spod corn a lot more.

I had the same thought a few years ago, kept getting done by little perch! Goddammit, looks awesome though.

Two flavours stand out to me in winter, tutti frutti and rosehip, but even better either work brilliantly when combined with solars squid and octopus.

I found Cinnamon Oil with Peach Nutrafruit was one of my best summer and winter combinations.
