Has any one tried bait works boillies ?

Andy52 and Stoogi, both mods on here and both fishing buddies of mine swear by Baitworks products. And both have caught some very nice fish with them.

I've not used their stuff yet but imagine that I soon will.

Can highly recommend bait works & have done in the past on hear . All came back saying how pleased and confident there are in the products.

I've not used the latest boilie ( Royal marine ) but have used monster red & Atlantic heat both are great baits.

Don't over look there pellets either coupled with matching pop ups, done me proud that tactic on a very low stock lake ,

Especially in winter .

I tried the Royal Marine last year, used it on the first over-nighter on pine pool, didn't catch on it, but that was down to me, i had a right mare alround that weekend. tried it at barston along side some mainline i also had left, the mainline started out ok, but they some couldn't get enough of bait works kit, some nice big fish too. i didn't try it on pine again, due to it being a strong mainline water and having to order the bait works stuff, their scent from hell pop ups are the most unusual bait i have ever smelled, absolutely foul.

I have managed to get on a syndicate waiting list that starts in march, i will more than likely be using bait works if i get on their,  the royal marine is made from top notch ingredients, they would be a great long term bait.

Have a read of the link i posted

The 2 baits are different MR is designed for year round use as where Atlantic Heat is designed for use in the warmer months.

King fish was superseded by Royal Marine so is not available any more ( got 10kg in freezer :) )

I personally use monster red all year round.

From Simon Scott's Twitter

I ALWAYS carry White Scent from Hells ! Then in the cool - monster red and when it's warm Atlantic Heat

In all honesty, it depends on the size of the PVA bag, but assuming a bag approximately 80mm x 140mm, I'd guess at 10-15 (You have to bear in mind that 400g is the packaged weight and (As far as I know) you get about 375g of stick mix delivered).

Personally, I'd be adding hemp / pigeon conditioner / maize to the mix so I'd double the amount of bags.

Used by Simon Scott so must be a decent bait.  If your interested he ran some tank tests on Baitworks products results look pretty good.  Link enclosed

The results don't look that impressive when put into context with this quote "One of the biggest problems with trialing a bait on tame fish is that they eat anything and everything that is dropped into their tank!

They assume that if a human is standing by their home they are about to be fed and anything that is dropped into the water is taken instantly… even stones!"
