carefulcarping
How big is big? Packington fisheries, have lakes with carp to 25lb Holt hall fishery specimen lake, hold 30lb carp and claim 1 40lb Cuttle mill fishery, holds 30's and I think some 40's Next, type it in on google and have a look, you probably have somewhere on your doorstep that you never knew was there Ross
stoogi
Welcome to the forum Johnny. Can you turn the caps off please? It's awful to read & is seen as shouting on a forum. Where in the Midlands are you, & where have you fished?

punta
Blackroot pool in sutton park used to have some big kippers years ago when i fished it. I walk the dog around there every so often and always see a bivvy or two, so there must be fish worth fishing for.
Sid
I've just been to a fabulous lake run by Magna Lakes at Sheepy Magna. It's situated between some new houses at Rodney Gardens which leads to Trout Ponds Farm (there is neither a trout pond nor a farm) Monks lake is a day fishery at £10 per day. There is another lake but this is a syndicate water.
