Blackroot pool in sutton park used to have some big kippers years ago when i fished it. I walk the dog around there every so often and always see a bivvy or two, so there must be fish worth fishing for. -
I had a walk around it yesterday - lovely looking lake. I remember fishing it 30 odd years ago for the carp and BLANKED Was going to fish it next weekend but there is a carp match on so no good for this nod. Just getting back into my fishing after a BIG lay off, so I do need to hone up my angling skills again. Any one on here fishing the match ?
