kevtaylor Posted January 4, 2007 Report Share Posted January 4, 2007 I just use a pair of pliers to hold the hook, whilst I'm steaming the rig. The rigs come out just as good as it would using a cone, a waste of money IMO I cant explain how I do it in words, but with a couple of attempts you'll get it right. At the moment I'm using the Gardner Supa-Shrink Tube in small (1.5mm) size that shrinks to 0.5mm (3:1 ratio) and it retains its bend pretty well even after a fish.
