  1. Not a personal opinion as I don't own any but....I have only heard good things about the vass-text products and they have various different price brackets to choose from Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I'm inclined to agree mate, and I actually quite like the scopes although the kodex three piece isn't exactly how you may imagine.... have a look at it it's quite clever Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Useful as ever Phil [emoji14] no opinion on the rod then? Although I like the sound of pretty ladies [emoji12] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. So a spanner in the works...... have you gentlemen heard of kodex tackle? If so opinions on their Kompact 9ft/10ft .......for those that don't know it's the same rod but has the two length options with an extension piece Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Another one to consider is skiing stuff, again last seasons gear quite cheap if you look around Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Thanks for all the replies really helpful and given me plenty to mull over and websites to check and the like, nice one lads! [emoji1303][emoji1303][emoji1303] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Can you recommend something that packs down to the same length (55") that's one of the biggest attractions for me.... I need to save space and fit stuff in the car more easily Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Wel the avid one certainly ain't cheap looks good though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Cheers Phil will check them out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Smufter apologies for the hijack...... but after going for a session on Sunday I realised that my trolley/barrow isn't rite for me, soooo.......this is where you lot can hopefully help I stand 6'2" and my barrow just sits at the wrong height meaning I'm walking hunched over....can anyone of similar height or anyone with a good idea point me towards a barrow that sits high and is more comfortable for the taller gents? I really don't fancy a bad back from something that I love Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I hope it is coincidental.... I've just bought some ready for the new reels I'll be ordering soon [emoji33] ah well if it's bad news it's only 12£ and I have a bull spool of sensor in my bag Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. That's a bit random :/ but I already have a set, got taska ones (never been out the pouch though [emoji33] lol just thought it might be a bargain for someone, useful info though! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. For anyone that thinks the Korda option is overpriced another option fresh to my email box is these Fishtec have them on offer for 24 hours Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Not on fb nige..... but I'll check out their site [emoji1303] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. The very last sentence ruled them out for me mate, but thanks for the option appreciated [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Well, I wouldn't say I was loaded, but anyway....the reasoning behind the change in the first place is to cut down the amount of space my gear takes up at home (keeps the missus happy) and in the car for ease of loading. So the weight comes into it and the looks would just be a bonus. The question I asked was more to do with are the black ops better quality or is it just cosmetic improvements that they offer Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Opinions on spending the extra money on the black ops version? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Choice mate, if people choose to buy them then so be it, I'm in agreement that the price is excessive but so are some reels at £1k each I think it comes down to perspective, I drive a ford kuga so a range rover is pricey and excessive to me I drive Ford kuga and have taska distance sticks Mr x drives Range Rover and has Korda/jag distance sticks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Cheers mate, appreciated [emoji1305][emoji1303] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Lovely cheers chill, normally I don't say nada to the missus cos she's good as gold with stuff like this but when it comes to three rods three reels and associated bits that's likely to top £1k it's just best to give her a heads up to save any arguments lol my money my choice.....just nice to be polite [emoji12] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. That's appreciated....I'll keep that in mind chillfactor, I need to get the idea past the missus first. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. That where that picture came from it just says will be at local stockists soon....unless I'm looking I. The wrong place Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Yeah somin like that.....it's finding somewhere that actually has them though, I've seen a second hand one on eBay but not much use as it's the 9ft version Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Have you seen the Nash rt system? Can't find one for love nor money at the moment but a great idea! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
