  1. If you only fish short weekend sessions I'd suggest a local canal or even the weaver but with a bit of pre-baiting beforehand ..... Boilies will still work but I'd mix them with vitalin which is a great pre-bait and bulk it out with corn ..... Try and get some bait in through the week and this can only help your session at the week end Best of luck Lee
  2. Hello lee mate what size carp you after catching ????
  3. 5 turn grinner and polamar do the job for me ..... Polamar being my fave ..... Easy to tie and strong .....
  4. If you look at this months catch report I had a few out from the middle pool I find the best way is to fish surface baits or just under the surface with small floaters You can scale down your end tackle as its not a snaggy water I had success with a strong 14 hook and 6lb hooklength My mate did ok on bottom baits 12mill pellets doing the trick but this will also catch you bream ..... Keep the floaters going in a rod length or so out and it won't take long for the carp to start feeding
  5. Hello Laura .....i,m sure now youve brought the thread back up one of the members will be able to help you out ........ Ian(Welder) and Mick(Leggs) will probably be your best bet for advice Nice to see you posting again
