  12. Andy, pardon my correction. it's Pendigo Lake. I've spent several minutes on google and can't find who runs the fishing on there, I live 5 minutes drive from NEC. Ian no problem ian seem to remember it was fished by the n.e.c's own fishing club. but it was years ago, so it might have changed
  13. i for one have never fished in france and have no intention to do so. I also have no access to an exclusive syndicate or estate lake. call me old school, but i spend hours pouring over o.s maps looking for lakes, then finding owners of said lakes to try to get permission to wet a line as coops said i like carp fishing not fishing for fast growing abomanations that are only in existance for glory hunters and owners pockets for get your 40lb'ers gimme a hard won, hunted down 20 any day
  14. pendago lake i think it is, think its a club the has the rights for it. phoine the n.e.c and ask

  16. if it is the civil service water as ian say's the only way you get a chance to fish it is if you work as a civil servant, also if you notice the pool has lines that go across it with bird scarers on them to keep the gulls/cormerants away
  17. can you be more spacific as to where by brum airport, it's a huge area that it covers
  18. you only use leadcore as a leader not as a way of "tying" rigs, and if done wrong can possibly cause damage or even death to our prized fish use florocarbon, braid or mono to tie rigs with
  19. hi, serious question....... why do you need to use leadcore? it doesn't 'hug' the bottom any kinks stick out like a sore thumb, off the bottom.flourocarbon much better in my opinion if you must use leadcore you can get ready made leaders (esp i thinks the best) they are about 4 quid each but ask yourself " why do i need leadcore)
  20. you could try docklow, on the A44 going towards leominster. never fished it but its supposed to have a few lumps in it
