  1. What rigs were you using 2 years ago? if they worked then, they will work now.
  2. I use the bore rings also, quick and easy, but I know a lot of people buy ready made chod rigs, so using the bore rings is not an option. Tie the ring on with some bait floss Now, why didn't I think of that

  4. Where abouts on the barracks is the lake, is it near the road and was I right about the long waiting list? sorry to hear you blanked.
  5. Don't know much about it but heard they had a problem with otters. Apparently it's meant to be quite weedy, but that shouldn't be so much of a problem this time of the year. I would be interested to know how you get on, as I don't live to far away, but I think they have a 8 year waiting list. I went to an offices summer ball there years ago which was one of the best nights out I have ever had
  6. A brilliant read and a fantastic session.

  9. I would be up for it Doug/Dan. We will have to have a chat about it next month at Cromwell
  10. Welcome to the forum Shaun. A ticket for a water that holds 40's without much of a waiting list, that's a big ask.you may have to lower your sights or be prepared to go on a waiting list.
  11. Well done. Sounds like a nice place.
  12. Nice one Bill. Must admit though I nearly fell asleep while you were looking for the hole in the bag Why the whispering?
  13. After 8 years living in Portugal I am moving back to the UK to the Cambridge area. I am considering putting my name down for Grenville lake. Is anyone on here a member? Any info on Grenville ( I have seen there web site and was wondering if anyone could add a personal view) or any other quality lakes would be much appreciated.
  14. Well done. Beautiful looking lake, makes me want to go myself.
  15. On my last trip back to the UK I returned with my cases (also my wifes and children ) full of boilies ground bait etc. Had no problems at all.
  16. You will need to watch your speed on the toll roads. If you drive to fast between tolls they can work out how long it took and if you were to quick you get a speeding fine.
  17. Electricians use shrink tubing to cover cables. I brought 10 meters of it off of a well known auction site, for less then a couple of packs of the branded stuff. Works well and comes in different diameters.
  18. Your rigs will last for years unused and left in your wallet. Otherwise shop brought ready mades would have a sell by date on them.
