I use the bore rings also, quick and easy, but I know a lot of people buy ready made chod rigs, so using the bore rings is not an option.

Don't know much about it but heard they had a problem with otters. Apparently it's meant to be quite weedy, but that shouldn't be so much of a problem this time of the year. I would be interested to know how you get on, as I don't live to far away, but I think they have a 8 year waiting list.

After 8 years living in Portugal I am moving back to the UK to the Cambridge area. I am considering putting my name down for Grenville lake. Is anyone on here a member? Any info on Grenville ( I have seen there web site and was wondering if anyone could add a personal view) or any other quality lakes would be much appreciated.
You will need to watch your speed on the toll roads. If you drive to fast between tolls they can work out how long it took and if you were to quick you get a speeding fine.
Electricians use shrink tubing to cover cables. I brought 10 meters of it off of a well known auction site, for less then a couple of packs of the branded stuff. Works well and comes in different diameters.
