  1. I also messaged nash this same question as well as asking what the folded down size is but never got a reply. One of my pet hates is bad customer service and being ignored over what I thought was a fairly reasonable question really winds me up, if they cant be arsed with me then I'll take my custom elsewhere.
  2. how deep ? might be worth trying zigs before you fill it in
  3. does anybody know what the maximum weight the nash ss4 5season emperor can take ?
  4. That's very interesting Blue. , but I thought you suffered with your back and knees ? . I think my knees would protest the next day if I sat on a Lo Chair other than for a short period of time , and the same for sitting on a mat or the grass ; I am better off sitting on my JRC Xlite Chair at 3kg some of us suffer with ailments such has bad joints or back so its not easy to compromise comfort for lighter weights I need a large bedchair which wont fit into smaller shelters so I just try and keep the justins to a minimum

    Silly Rules

Totally agree. No one is born knowing everything and I think it's a very poor show when experienced anglers wont pass on tips to new comers to the sport. The amount of times I asked other anglers questions when I was new to carp fishing and was ignored or even lied to in an attempt to dissuade me from fishing at certain venues is shameful, now I answer any question asked to some one new to fishing even if its (apart from areas I've been prebaiting) what bait or tactics I'm using.
  6. I've got a small crane bag for keeping my brew kit in and it's been fine (I did unpick the logo tho)
  7. I take it your looking for club waters and not syndicates
  8. your not joking there pricey, that's just ridiculous. has the guy rolling them got a couple of Michelin stars ?
  9. im not a massive fan of reading fishing books but I am a huge penning fan and love his passion for and approach to angling. will definitely be parting with £35 (but if the missus askes it was a fiver )
  10. Used to do lots of 3 nighters in my youth but as I've gotten older it's rare I do more than a night at a time and in the height of summer it's usually 8pm till 8am
  11. whats the airbomb like dayvid ? ive been looking for something to spread boilies out at 120+ yards, how wide is the spread on release ?
  12. yea I mostly take pictures on the mat to log capture size, swim, time and other information
  13. my favourite capture wasn't a carp it was my first double figure barbell from a small river call the soar 12lb 2oz and fought like satan him self, couldn't stop smiling for about a week.
  14. Somewhere I took my nephews when they first went carp fishing. Nothing massive in there, mostly low to mid teens but keeps the young uns happy
  15. only ever happened to me once when I had 54 runs in a 48 hour sesh (landed 49 and was a very easy water) and I reeled in for 5 hours the second night fairly featureless lake so it didn't cause me to many problems
  16. like most people have said it differs from lake to lake but ill never go onto a new lake and rule either method out, even if im told its a boilie water ill still use particle and see for myself. I haven't fished particle for a few year due to the amount of bream I was getting on my current water but I would usually fish at least 1 rod on particle.
  17. ive only ever used the smooth coating and its never stopped me from catching whether its hindered my catch rate I don't know, maybe its something DF can look at in underwater vol 190
  18. my average spread is about 100 baits over about 60/70sq yards so 10sq yards would be considered tight baiting by my standards.
  19. stick man through and through. only use the spomb if I cant get em out far enough with the stick or in colder months when I want a tighter spread of bait.
  20. I tried a few different brands until i settled on esp cryogen The worst hook being fox edges, just after being in the water a few hours the point was so bent you'd need a mallet to get it to penetrate
  21. ive already got a fox warrior so ill probably just get a new mesh and float for that but was looking to get a second net, the chub outkast looks good and was impressed with the rods so thought id give it a look. never thought of having to transport the cradle about so will have to weigh up pros and cons on that one. as for the sling I like the sonic sling ive got so probably get another one of those. I see what you saying but im the sort of person that checks i've locked to door 20 times before I can leave the house (im one of life's worriers) so id rather take a hit for a few hundred quid and give myself and the next fishery I visit piece of mind. ill be replacing my line before fishing anywhere else glad you mention the stink net
  22. as ive mentioned previously im currently fishing a venue that's got KHV, ive now decided that its time to move on and find a few new waters so I am replacing any items of tackle that are likely to spread the disease. anybody got any recommendations on any of the above (or any other tackle you think I should be replacing) was looking at a matt with legs as the beanie matt im using atm isn't that good on uneven ground and am thinking of doing some time on the river trent and the banks aren't that great.
