  1. Well I guess you would be trying to get 6 bits of line through the eye instead of 3 but I've probably misunderstood your explaination?
  2. Yea that's a good idea...
  3. When I say "went through first time" what I meant to say was "went through first time without the rig ring on" I'm looooooooooooosing it

  11. Thanks Zammo, appreciate that. Now wshere are my manners, morning all Names Mark, live in the North Hykeham area, been fishing circa 28 years, moved to solely carp fishing 3 years ago, current PB 22lb 11oz. I usually join Cemex and fish Brewery Farm over in Conningsby, also frequent Bain Valley, Old Mill and Oakhill leisure over in Norton Disney, but looking for a small syndicate this year so I can focus on one water. P.M. On the way mate
  12. Give us a nice introduction and I'll let you have the details of a good one
  13. Have you used the rigs in question before? Did they work? If the answer is yes, then keep using them...
  14. A good point, well made. The Internet can be informative and misleading in equal measures. I'm one of the party who'll be fishing there with stoogi in May. You may be sure of an accurate appraisal of the venue upon our return. I'm looking forward to fishing there, and to the company of those I'll be fishing with. I feel that it's fair to say that the place has hardly been open long enough to have generated much feedback but await any further information with interest. Ian @ Willi I wasnt having a bash at you mate and what you say is fair comment but I would say that in the case of this particular fishery/website I think it's safe to say it is not a case of it being a hyped up "muddy puddle" @ Ian,Good comment mate.I'm sure you will have a great time
  15. Don't beat yerself up mate, we live and learn...
  16. Candy corner 4 lakes carp to 30lb...
  17. I have never been here so I cannot speak from expieriance but having looked at their website carefully I can only say I think your mixing up the words spin and slick. The site has more info on it than almost any site I have ever looked at,it has a very comprehensive F.A.Q. section and a lot of very good testimonials.Personaly I would hae no hesitation in going to fish there. I think you are doing the place an injustice to ask "if it's a lot of spin"?
  18. Things have probably changed a bit since I fished it over 50 years ago..But I do know that there have been some mhoosive fish coming out of there recently...
  19. If I lived in Broxbourne I would do all my fishing at Dobbs weir...
  20. Thanks guys...
  21. Don't know which is the best venue but you certainly are spoiled for choice in that area..
  22. Checked out their website, they have a lot of very nice dark scaley fish. Can't help with info as I never even heard of it before you asked this question...
